I've been having excellent loads with 458 socom..
Recieved some new bullets ,some Nosler balistic silver tip 300 grain and some plated 350 grain FMJ from Everglades ammo..usually I shool check brass and good,clean no bad signs..I have shot the new ones silver and fmj and the brass has bad powder burns on the sides bout half way down brass,thought might be pressure so changed loads up /down ,I crimped a couple vs non crimped but with both still burnt.. No other loads have this issue.
Has anyone else been blessed with this problem??

Great optic, I just don’t really use the rifle it was on a ton and can use the cash. Great condition, no ring marks, some slight marring on the slots on turrets, and one blemish in front glass (have never noticed any affect from this). Sunshade was chopped shorter, but aside from the shiny ass bare metal I actually kind of dig the shorter length.

I have a used Bartlein barrel 22" long, heavy Palma contour, 1:8 twist, spun up by Preece Precision using the Saw2 reamer for an Impact 737 action with less than 300 rounds. Been beat up a little bit but plenty of life left in this pipe, asking $250.00 shipped.

Coming from west coast having only shot PRS/NRL matches west of the Rockies (plus PRS Finale last year) what can I expect going to GAP Grind this year? Props? Avg target size? Movement? Wind? Typical stressors?

I use MidWest Industries 34mm QD scope mounts for my AR’s with LPVO’s. My current need is to have a upper replacement ring that incorporates a section of picatinny to mount a LRF such as the Vortex Impact 4000. Often called “diving board” and it doesn’t need to be tall enough to clear a 56mm objective….just long enough to engage the mounting portion on the Vortex. I don’t see that MidWest makes anything like this but if they do, please reply (FYI, I have reached out to MidWest and am awaiting their reply). AND also please reply if you know the mounting pattern (screws) matches another manufacturer that does make this diving board ring. I hope that makes sense….basically what I’m asking is if any brand/manufacturer Diving Board 34mm ring section could be used on my MidWest Industries 34mm scope mount….OR whoever, I don’t care the manufacturer just that it would work on my scope mount.
