SOLD WTS PRECISION ARMAMENT HYPERTAP TI

Today I’m selling precision armaments newest muzzle brake the hypertap Ti. This one is for 223/556 and threaded 1/2x28. Essentially it’s a hypertap that’s been shortened and lightened. It’s made of titanium but has a black finish. I only used it for one range trip and about 40 rounds. Brake is extremely effective but the downside is there’s a lot of concussion that I was feeling as the shooter. I decided to go back to a brake with less concussion. Anyways I’m asking $135 shipped. Venmo only.

300 blackout in new york

i am looking to get some advice on a 16.5 inch 300 blackout barrel i have for ar platform. I have my own machine shop and i just upgraded to 300 hammer . I live in new york so suppressors are illegal, and now the 16.5 blackout is kinda redundant that I have the hammer. I was thinking of cutting it down to 8 to 10 inches and recrowning , and use it subsonic on my ar pistol , but would there be any real noise advantage? My pistol already has a 10 inch 7.62 x 39 barrel , any suggestions?

NRL22 and Swaro EL Range

Not sure if this is the right place for this but I doubt anyone else other than a precision .22 shooter would try and set up the EL Range for rimfire :)

I have been trying to set up the Swaros for NRL22 and can't get them to give correction (it just flashes "MRAD")... has anyone had success in getting them set up for .22? I'm curious if the data range is outside of Swaros software?

I’m looking for a set of higher powered binos for PRS spotting. I’m trying to stay around 2k on budget. I know the 14’s pures are the best but it’s not in the budget. Between these binos what would you choose?

Anyone have their big dog on Librela for pain from OA?

My GDS is 11-12 (rescue so not 100% sure). He is not doing the miles of walks anymore, jumping in/out of the Polaris, or really jumping into the truck any more. He has a custom built ramp. He has been on Adequan for about 18 months and doesn't seem to be helping. We use Rimadyl occasionally, but it knocks him out if we use more than 1/2 the normal dose. The Vet has recommended Librela.

Anyone have their big dog on this? Issues, reactions, results? Time to see any improvement?

Looks like this isn't available through PetMeds or Chewy so it may be a monthly trip to the vet. That isn't an issue, just easier to do it at home. And his "special Tech" that he adopted left and he isn't impressed with any of the replacements. He is very particular about what female (ONLY!) gives him shots....

And, yea, he is pretty spoiled.

"Librela (bedinvetmab) is a monoclonal antibody medication approved by the FDA for the treatment of pain associated with osteoarthritis (OA) in dog.
Librela works by blocking a specific protein called nerve growth factor (NGF), which plays a role in the development and maintenance of pain signals in OA. "

Question for the accurized AR-15 crowd...

I have a Falkor Caitlyn that I won at an SHC event many years ago. Some of you here have probably shot this exact rifle.

To mix things up from bolt guns, I decided to make this rifle an "SPR". Today at the range I shot some IMI Razorcore 77 and Blackhills 75 match HP ammo. I shot a lot more IMI than the Blackhills, but both ammo produced groups in the 1.25-1.50 MOA range. One group with the IMI was just barely sub 1 MOA. This rifle has a carbon fiber Proof 16" barrel for those curious.

While I understand these are not bad groups for an AR-15, I was hoping for it to be closer to 0.75-1 MOA. This seems to be wishful thinking at this point. However the barrel is likely way over due for a cleaning, so this may be a factor as well.

But while at the range, I ejected a few rounds that were chambered but unfired, and noticed some pretty deep gouges on the ogive of the bullets. My understanding is that this is caused by the feed lips in the barrel extension. I emailed Falkor, they didn't seem too concerned with it. I know that this is a somewhat normal thing with AR-15's, however I can't help but think that these gouges wouldn't have a fairly dramatic effect on precision. Maybe not as much at 100 yards, but I'm sure further out it would produce pretty noticeable results.

What does the accurized ar-15 crowd do to avoid this issue? Or is this just the reality with AR-15's that we have to live with? @MSTN

Accuracy international chassis rail selection

I picked up a pretty cool rifle, Borden 6br in an AI chassis, always loved these growing up. The guy I got it from rigged up a pic rail and it needs upgraded. I’m having a hell of a time figuring out what to get, a standard key mod pic rail didn’t fit.

Can anyone post some options and the correct one to order, going to either go pic rail 3-4in or go with an arca rail.

Thanks in advance

Firearms Accuracy International AX50 ELR - Dark Earth

Very few rounds, almost all 750 AMAX (2600FPS). Always shot from wooden bench (no dirt, no concrete). I can get an exact round count. I will provide pictures, but wanted to get this posted. $13,500 plus actual shipping cost (will have to have my FFL ship because USPS will not come anywhere near close to providing adequate insurance). May have to ship it in separate packages b/c FedEx won't insure past $10K last I checked.

I also have a complete (and unused) reloading setup for it if purchaser is interested in that we can discuss.

Rifle is in located in Nashville area.

Will upload photos at some point. If you're really serious, feel free to harass me to get photos up.

Elr rifle chassis or stock

What are you guys mainly using for elr matches like nightforce steel challenge krg elr light class ect....

I'm using a krg whiskey 3 gen 6 chassis but I'm trying to build another rifle and looking at other chassis and stocks. I like my chassis no issues but looking at something else

I've looked at
matrix pro 2
Xlr Envy pro c6
Manners t4a stock
F.A.S.T chassis
Mcmillian

I've just looked at them online no place for me to really go try or in person type of thing. But just looking at what others are running. Also of you guys have experience with those chassis or anything similar.
