Hi,

Any leads? I am looking for a 22LR conversion that will work on a 9mm AR that has a magwell set up for Glock Mags.

As is, 22 Glock Mags fit, but the angle, height and chamber collar to not Jive with a "std" 22 upper.

Does anyone have experience adding a powder in to Gordon’s Reloading Tool? I have made a cartridge that wasn’t in the database (thanks to help from the hide), and that makes sense to me. I wouldn’t even know where to start with adding a powder.

I guess all of this would be a moot point if someone told me where to find MagPro in GRT though…

What’s the general opinion on the best optic you can “typically find” for under 2500$. We are NOT talking MSRP. Not from a dealer. But if you hop in a buy/sell/trade page, or a classified section: a scope you can usually see for under 2500$ pretty regularly.

I'm trying to diagnose some extraction issues with my rimfire. Yesterday it shot fine, went through 50 rounds, had a great day. Today I went to do some drills and I was having a bunch of extraction issues. Like one out of every 9 rounds wouldn't extract. The casing would be stuck flush in the barrel. I had to eject the mag, and if I ran the bolt forward and cammed it down and then pulled it back, it still wouldn't eject. But if I ran the bolt forward, cammed it, and then fired the rifle, and then pulled back, it would eject. So somehow the firing pin hitting the rim again, loosened it? And then it allowed it to eject?

I then tightened up the headspace a little bit, and it got worse, so then I went to loosen up the headspacing, and it got too dark to fire again so I'll have to find a break from work to be able to try adjusting it more.

Any ideas for things to test and try? The only thing I can think of was adjusting the headspace some more, and I was sure to make sure my extractor cut on the barrel was lined up with the extractor and at 90 degrees.

I've got a Magnetospeed V3 in the original plastic case. All accessories are still there. It's in good shape, and is free of damage. Works well. I just upgraded to a Garmin so I don't need it anymore. Asking $275 shipped.

This is my first AR-308/AR-10 type rifle and so far it has been reliable, accurate and fun to shoot. Build quality and finish are top teir. Online reviews and reports have confirmed the 716I is a quality shooter. Some owners and reviewers have suggested it is capable of running with the big names in the AR-308/ AR-10 pack. It is a serious best buy for the amount of features you get for its low price. It is also a frontline battle rifle with over 144,000 units currently issued by India to its Soldiers along the Line of Control with China and Pakistan.

This is definitely not an entry level rifle, but is it a top teir battle rifle?

So far I've shot 460rds of mixed match and military 7.62x51 & .308 through my SIG716I TREAD. It has been accurate and reliable. I lightened up the trigger with a JP Enhanced Ignition Reliability Spring kit which gave me a clean crisp 4.5lb pull. I also added a SureFire ProComp 7.62 Muzzle Brake and VLTOR EMOD stock. I went with Magpul grips and covers and chose the Pro Offset Flip-ups for BUIS. On top sits a Nikon M-Tactical 3-12x42SF MK1-MRAD scope in 30mm Aero Precision Ultralight SPR mount.
