Currently running an Atlas Super Cal with RRS SOAR lever and it's a great piece of kit but I've ran into a couple stages where guys with CYKE-Pods could adjust the legs narrower and get into a solid position the Atlas wouldn't fit and I'd have to use a positional bag.

Question is for strictly PRS what version do you guys think is best?? I'm strongly leaning towards the Gen 2 double pull with the RRS SOAR lever.

Again these are used but in still usable condition. They come with shoulder straps and the bag with the inside panels. Buckles all work but some portions of the zippers on curtain ones are starting to pop or the slide is skipped but can be retracked. Most have some dirt on them. Ill try to clean them as best I can.

I freely admit I'm a gun autist. There are certain things I like. Every piece of metal coated in something better than phosphate to prevent rust/wear. A supported tail bolt carrier to increase theoretical accuracy. CHF barrels give me the warm fuzzies, as does LW50 because it wears better than traditional stainless (allegedly). I like my AR builds to be tight as a tic without any rattle.

I'm also a mediocre shot. There's a reason I don't post groups here. I work 50+ hours a week and my days off are usually spent ticking off boxes on the hunny-do list. I don't have the time I'd like to get good. At least I admit it.

I have a pet theory about something that may (or may not, I'm an autist, not an engineer) increase accuracy (as Molon would say, technically precision) that I'd like to put out there for the Hide. Maybe one of you who does have the skills could test it and prove or disprove it.

Joe Carlos has data out there showing the efficacy of supported tail bolt carriers yielding an increase in potential precision and smaller group sizes. While he was at it, he also tested anti-tilt buffers. If memory serves, he didn't specify, but I believe he ordered it from slash buffers. He found it did not yield any increase in accuracy.

Here's where my theory kicks in. What if you combined the anti-tilt buffer with an anti-tilt buffer tube (along with a supported tail carrier like Lantac, SRC, Dirty Bird, Radian, etc)? The POF or PWS designs in particular come to mind.

The combination, in my mind, could remove enough of the slop in tolerance to possibly give better shot to shot consistency.

I could also see it negatively impacting reliability, but given that I long ago started as an AK guy, perhaps that's just unfounded paranoia.

In any case, perhaps one of you with the skill, time, resources, and also a touch of the 'tism can give this hairbrained idea a try. If it works, I've contributed something. If not, well, back to the drawing board.

So this weekend I went shooting and after the second shot I pulled the bolt back and the case head ripped right off. I tried running a cleaning rod down with and without a patch. Tried to gently pick it out without gouging the chamber. Nothing worked. It's in there good. It's chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. It's a Badger M2013 action. I chucked it up in the barrel vice and pulled the barrel off to get better access but no luck.

My question is do any of you out there have any ideas as how to get it out without scratching the chamber? I looked at the "broken case remover tool" from CJ tools( I think that's the name) but they don't have one for 6.5 Creedmoor. The case head broke off about 1/2" into the chamber, if that helps. I was thinking a screw extractor or a tap but again, I'm worried about the chamber. I'd appreciate any help or ideas guys. Thanks

Are the Badger M4 and DD Ross M40A3 bottom metals the same as far as fit and function? I have no plans for a clone build with either, but I like the idea of an all steel trigger guard for a future Remington 700 BDL. Are they both nearly a direct drop in for a standard BDL inlet?

While either one can still be found, I don’t want to wish I had bought one in a year or two, if I decide to build an upgraded REM 700.

I've decided to hang onto my Q fix for hunting in Idaho later in retirement and thought about access to barrels, and the barrel change, at a later time. The barrels are available now and the Kit Badger video on youtube seems straight forward for those of us who have built AR10/AR15 gas guns. They have a link to their barrel change manual but its a dead link. Any source for the manual or advise on the barrel change here? Thank you in advance.

Hi all,
I'm looking for recommendations on a suppressor for my sp10 in 6.5 creedmoor. It will be 30 cal. Some of my criteria.

1. Flow through is not necessary
2. It doesn't have to be the quietest can out there. I won't use it hunting.
3. It needs to be able to withstand 50 shots quickly. I use this gun in DMR matches with high round count.
4. It needs to be in stock and available to purchase
5. Weight isn't really a factor. Super heavy would be bad since I'll have to ruck with it 4 miles.

I really like the tbac ultra 7 but their website has me worried I'll shoot it out if the round count on a stage is too high.

Looking to sell this as it’s a duplicate for me. This is an excellent condition CZ 457 MTR chambered in .22LR using CZ’s match chamber. For factory barrels, these are very highly regarded and shoot amazingly well. Been awhile since I shot this one, but I recall getting a few 0.2” groups at 50y using a really good lot of CCI SV I used to have. I’d imagine it would do that all day long with the likes of SK Rifle Match, Lapua Center-X, etc.

The trigger’s been tuned down quite a ways. I don’t have a trigger pull gauge, but if it’s more than 10oz I’d be shocked. Breaks VERY clean, and the action is smooth as butter. The only imperfections I see are a few safe rash compression marks on the right side of the comb (which surprised even me, but we did move recently) that might steam out, and some teeny, tiny scratches on the bottom of the stock near the rear sling stud (I struggled to get then even to show up). Other than that, it’s in excellent condition!

For local sales, I’ll include the factory box, and I may have the manual in there, I’ll have to check. Comes with the rifle and one 5rnd mag.

If I can line up buyers for all parts, I’d split into the following:

-Action w/ factory trigger and one mag: $425
-Match barrel: $260
-Stock w/ bottom metal: $260
