Sort of strange situation AR10 308... AERO upper and lower, Tool Craft carrier with JP HP bolt... All top shelf components...
Sometimes when I drop the BCG on the first round from the mag and squeeze the trigger, I hear and feel the "click" from the trigger.
Trigger is a new TriggerTech Diamond AR10 trigger. I eject the round, put it back in the mag...do it all over again and it fires fine. It doesn't always do it and may do it on the 3rd or 5th round. Intermittent.

I'm trying to figure out where to focus on. Spotlessly clean the bolt and carrier, etc..... Still intermittent. Hand loads..... Lapua brass, Federal match primers....

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I just got a 6 dasher that I put together. Zermatt origin with proof pre fit 26" barrel. Brand new alpha brass srp. At 31.7 with varget I got a blown primer didn't come out but it had carbon ring around it and a hole. I started with shooters world precision and had it do the same thing at 31.5 with heavy bolt lift so I stopped cause I was just looking for pressure with the powder and just switched to varget. I did 5 rounds at 31.7 and didn't have a problem with the other 4 rounds but the 1 round had the problem. Shot 5 at 32.2 and they didn't have any problem or heavy bolt lift. I'm using winchester #41 cause it's what I have and I didn't think it would be a problem but is that the problem? Do I need to switch primers i do have some cci450. I also noticed my bolt now has 2 little dimples on the face is it trashed now to?

I set myself a goal this year to take a deer at 600 yards with an AR rifle. To be sure it was up for the task every time I went to the range even shooting other rifles I shot 1 cold bore shot at 600 to be sure it was always consistent. I carry this rifle to 900 on a normal basis.
This morning i had my chance, 601 yards and recovered him 35 yards from impact. I was just fine with a mature doe but this guy came in today and gave me that chance. One of my favorite hunts now
