I`m outside the U.S and cant seem to find a M40A5 muzzle brake for a clone build, anyone have a drawing they can let me have so I can get one made up?

Ran into something odd a few days ago with some new Alpha 6.5cm brass. Grabbed some virgin cases to start loading for a new gun, and wasn't happy with the .262 expander ball in my Forster sizing die; I could feel not a whole lot of resistance (there was some, but not what I was wanting) when seating the bullets in my inline die/arbor press combination. (I'm using the K&M press that has a short arm).
So I took the expander stem out of the die, chucked it up in my drill and polished on it a little to get it to .260 for a little more neck tension. Seated a few more rounds and NOTHING. ZERO difference in seating feel. How??
I was soo shocked I sized a case with NO expander ball in it, and seated a bullet in it after doing that and there was same neck tension, which is very little. I am so confused I have no idea what is going on. Could this be because the cases are brand new? Could it be bad brass? I'm guessing a lot of springback? Why dont my already loaded rounds from 2 weeks ago have this? When I try to pull a bullet out of my previously loaded cases it's really hard, and now all of a sudden they pull out really easy. I measured the od of these new bullets and they're the same as the old ones I loaded a while ago. Why I'm so confused is because this is a new anomaly for me. I've been loading rounds like this for a year now, and when I move to progressively smaller expander balls the amount of force needed to seat the bullets goes up. And now, all of a sudden out of nowhere, nothing I do changes the super light neck tension I have now. Nothing I do changes the super easy seating force I now have when seating... I have four Forster dies in 6.5 creedmoor and theyre all the same.
Have any of you experienced this?

I have decided to try the Vector-x binos so selling my Revic BR4 rangefinder. Purchased from Optics Planet in March of 2022, used it for a few hunts and to the range a few times, then promptly deployed overseas in 2023-2024. In short, not much use. I’ve searched and looked on here so I tried to do due diligence if this is posted a lot. I am currently building my house, in the basement I’m doing a vault room with concrete and metal cased concrete for the roof. The room is 12.5 x 10.5. I have never had a canted scope base. Getting a Seekins Havak PH2 that comes with a 20 MOA base on it mounted with 5, #8 screws. My question is if I dial 20 MOA (approx) down when sighting in at 100 yards, my scope will start there, not optically centered. My scope is a Nightforce 4-32 x 50 SFP. It has 90 MOA vertical travel range. Which means I will be using 20 of 45 (half of 90) MOA to get it sighted in. I should have 65 MOA of up travel left for elevation adjustments. I don’t really need a 20 MOA base as my shots won’t exceed 600 yards, more likely 400 yards. I don’t have the scope yet but have ordered it. I have always assumed if a scope was able to be adjusted within a range, the optical clarity should be the same within that range. I have read a scope performs best when optically centered. I’m not sure if that is true. For you guys that routinely dial for long shots, do you notice any degraded optical clarity when looking through your scope compared to it being optically centered? Will my scope still be as clear when viewing through it with 20 MOA dialed in all the time as a starting point? If it’s a problem I can try to get a 0 MOA base. Given it has 5 screws it would probably need to come from Seekins. Most of the REM 700 bases I see have 4 screws. I’m not sure they make them but probably do.

So I don’t know the folks at this site, and I am not calling them out. Just wondering about the science behind the claims, and if it is worth the coin.

My grandaughter wanted red magazines to go with her other red accessories on her 10/22. I'll admit that I instigated a little as I saw this originally posted on another forum and was intrigued. The process seemed pretty simple so I thought I'd try it.

We purchased some Rit DyeMore synthetic liquid dye in Racing Red from Walmart, disassembled 4 of the Ruger clear magazines, cleaned the parts first with dishwashing soap and a toothbrush, then with alcohol. Using a stainless pot on the stove I mixed about a third of the bottle with a quart of water (enough to cover the mag parts completely). I brought the water/dye mix to a boil, inserted the magazine parts and left them at a simmer for about 8 minutes while stirring constantly. Results are below. The other grandkids then wanted their own so we've tried different colors with mixed results. Red and blue worked great but purple and green came out a little dark. I'll try the purple and green again but next time won't leave in the dye so long.
