WTB WTB Cobalt Kinetics Receiver Set or Rifle

Thought I'd check here before ordering a new set. Looking for a Cobalt Kinetics receiver set (upper, lower and 15.5" handguard) for another build. Will also consider a full rifle for the right price.

Scammers: i'll be asking for photos with username and date in the picture. Mess with someone else.

Optics mount issues

I have a 737r and use a area 419 tac mount 34mm tube 39mm hight 20moa. My issue is that the cases hit the Pic rail mounting points and fall strait down sometimes back into the ejection port. I tried moving it in every possible position and still have issues. The action ejects fine when the mount is removed. I am waiting to hear back from area 419 and impact to hear what they say. I don't want to use rings and the mount needs to be tall enough for the scope to clear the mdt elite bridges I'm waiting on. Anyone that has experience with the impact 737r and is using a mount that fits my parameters with no issue please let me know. If it matters I am shooting 6mm dasher with grey ops aw mags. Sidearms & Scatterguns Sig just can't get out of their own way

In the last few years, a thread will pop up on these forums about a Sig P320 that had a ND. It usually goes into a the Sig is a pos with other people talking about how great it is.

On March 7th, Sig decided the best course of action was to make a statement to the entire world here.

It's you, it is not the pistol

The TLDR is that nothing is wrong with the P320. If you criticize the 320, you are either working for Michael Bloomberg trying to strip away our 2A rights or you are a communist. The comments under the post are really funny (worth a read).

After getting completely roasted by the internet, Sig doubles down because they won a court case.

See, we told you it was you and not the P320.

Again the comments are hysterical and worth a read. I am going to jump in here and mention that there are currently almost 100 active cases in court against Sig (Lexus Nexus source). To date, Sig has lost six cases where they have been found at fault.

Then we have this bit of joy show up on the internet. Achilles Heel Tactical is holding a class. The instructor is going over the previous drill and there is a discharge on the range. He walks down the line and before he gets there says something like, "Is that a 320"? He then instructs the student to remove the gun from the range.

The two range officers behind the firing line both have said the student did not have his hand on the pistol. The six people immediately beside him all said he did not have his hand on the pistol and was holstered. Altogether, eight eye witnesses said it was in the holster and was a ND.

Bad angle, but you get the idea.

The training company (Achilles) released the following statement.

Achillese.jpg

This guy has released two videos on what he thinks is the mechanical problem with the pistol, if you are interested in why the pistols may be NDing it is interesting to watch.

Sig go boom

Optics AGM EVOLVER LRF1280 BRAND NEW

I have a brand new AGM Evolver LRF 1280 that I bought on 3/13/2025. It has been removed from the box and used on the front porch only.
Will come with all the original items plus I printed out the user manual and will send that for all of us with older eyes. I will ship to the lower 48
for $6500.00 PP F&F. I am located in Washington OK if you want to do a face to face transaction. Here are the specs from AGM website.

The AGM Evolver LRF 1280 is now the new apex predator in the field. Providing an unrivaled image quality in compact housing, the Evolver LRF is equipping it with a 65mm Germanium lens and a 1280x1024 resolution thermal sensor. Not only that, but it’s been paired with a fully integrated 1000m laser rangefinder and AGM’s new on-board ballistic calculator. A newly designed eyepiece gives the Evolver a very versatile 2.5X base magnification, which can then be digitally zoomed up to 20X on the high end. This means hog hunters will enjoy a base magnification low enough for close range engagements, while predator hunters can comfortably zoom to 5X while still enjoying a crisp 640 resolution before zooming further. AGM’s powerful new imaging algorithm and new semi-circular display give shooters a feeling of precision and sophistication. Large sturdy buttons were designed to aid gloved fingers in cold winter weather, while the removable rechargeable NE-4400 battery offers current and future AGM customers one of the most robust and easy to install battery systems on the market. And of course, a full firmware package has been incorporated to allow users an astonishing level of customization: on-board pitch scale, 10 brightness and contrast settings, warm & cold viewing modes, multiple color palettes, manual focus, picture in picture, ballistic calculation, on-board video recording with sound, 1000y/m laser range finding, Wi-Fi hotspot, multiple zeroing profiles, shot activated video recording, defective pixel repair, hotspot locator and multiple laser range finding modes. Also included is an American-made ADM mounting system.

  • Sub-18mK thermal sensitivity

Sling Studs to Flush Cups

Many factory rifles come with the old sling studs, which I completely hate and have utterly no use for. To me it's like drilling a wood screw into the stock for no reason. All of the good slings I use for competition are on QD. Only my hunting rifles have slings that live on them where I don't mind these studs.

In the past I've removed the studs, drilled out the holes, and installed GroveTec flushcups. This way I can use the rifle for silhouette and off hand matches with a sling, but also remove it for Base Class positional shooting.

My LGS that focuses on ARs found these:

I'd never seen them before, but they're a great idea if you have no use for sling studs and they require no modification to the gun. I ordered a pair, and my only reservation is that they may annoy me, flopping around, went the sling is off...but we'll see.
