Bundles of shingles are heavy. 3 tab, dimensional or T - Lock....Ask me how I know......I would suspect that info could be found online......did a lot of roofing working work as a kid with a contractor.....did my garage few years back...no dropped lines.....zero help for the OP, but the post reminded me of fiberglass in my hands....ooopphh...
You'll have a 100% better experience finding a good contractor, and using a 30 year shingle with a good warranty that's sold locally. Having your contractor and their supplier able to easily warranty work is going to make your life much easier if you have any issues.
We won't warranty any products we can't get at our local supply house. Too much extra headache when we can warranty comparable products easier and cheaper.
Or pay a few bucks for it on line. If you scroll down there a place where they rate materials but you have to pay for that info.
But Id go with metal. Materials are a bit more but labor for installation is less if you use white it will lower your cooling bills, and it lasts longer.
