I’ve seen them reverse threaded on one side of an old tractor, but it was a really long time ago. I just remember it kicked my ass one afternoon…

Where I am in Tampa Bay we don't have copperheads but we do have Cottonmouths near water and the occasional coral snake. We also have the infamous (but non-venomous) "Southern Black Racer." Long (at least 4-5'), quick as Hell, and oh so feisty. And, although not venomous, it will bite if it gets close enough and it does hurt! I've been tangling with one that loves to crash in my garage. it sneaks in via the cracks in my garage door when it's closed. So I've had to patch up the door with gaskets so it can't enter. And I sprinkle Cassia cinnamon powder as an irritant on the garage floor where he likes to crash.
Why? The black snake is a good one to have. I have an 8 footer that lives in my garage. He's been there for several years. Keeps the mice, other vermin and the bad snakes out.

Lug nut centered bud wheels are left hand thread on left side, right hand on right side. Hub centered wheels are right hand thread on both sides and have a flat washer built onto the nuts.
On lug centered wheels the rear have an inner nut with square drive and outer threads for the outer nut.
Real fun, take all the nuts off and throw in a box. Takes a while to separate.

We had a rodent problem at my ex's until a timber rattler took up residence underneath a bay window extension. Dogs never bothered with her (although our dumbass yard guy killed all the babies..)
Mine is welcome to any area exterior to my house on my land. I even allow it to shed inside my sun porch. But not inside the garage or anywhere else, inside. That is where I draw the line. I don't have a rodent problem anywhere near my house, at present. I have more an issue with salamanders & newts, but I like them. They're free to roam anywhere they like, even in the garage.
Not snakes.
I'd rather have a rodent problem than a resident timber rattler. And the yard guy would get a little bonus money on payday.

The racers are great for keeping the bad guys away as well!

leave him be, or relocate if needed,
they are good snakes to have around,
the racers are known to be a bit sassy, but like their cousins the King Snake ( what a common black snake actually is) they eat critters , including bad snakes,
consider yourself blessed you have one
