Anyone cook on a griddle?

Ive since fallen in love with Lodge carbon steel pans.

Cooks and cleans up as good as cast without the weight.

I still love my cast but the carbon steel is really easy to work with.

They are not made anywhere as nice as that Smithy but they work great.
I have a 12”(I think) De Boyer carbon pan that I use pretty frequently. I use that and my 12” Lodge sort of interchangeably.

I promised my stepdaughter she could have the Lodge when she moves out. This is also a built-in excuse to get myself a badass cast iron pan next. I know there are dozens of options but I’m eyeballin a Finex pretty hard. They’re beautiful.

I tip my hat to you good sir !

Love mine. Can cook breakfast for 10 no problem. Pancakes for everyone, hash browns, eggs, bacon. Awesome.

Tell me your a "poor" without telling me your a poor !
Hardly. I'm just not a fool. One flat metal pieces cooks meat the same as another flat metal piece. Thicker metal helps retain heat when working with shit that's too thick to be doing on a griddle anyway. All the cast iron or nothing chest puffing asshattery in this thread is just that. Chest puffing asshattery.

If I wanted I could go out right now and buy a small island. Getting to that point is hard and took me living like a poor for 30 years to accomplish. Staying not poor is by comparison easy as shit, don't buy stupid shit you don't need to when there's perfectly good usable stuff laying around.

Lighten up Francis, it was just a little humor . You would know that if you spent much time here.
