As in you want me to get ahold of you to look for them as a team, or you're piggy-backing on my thread because you want to buy one too? Also looking for fieldcrafts. Hit me up
Been sold6.5 creed listed on long range hunter forum
If Wilson bought Nula that's all cool, they're were always better than the barret. Barret got their cheaper pedigree from the Forbes line of rifles. Melvin partnered with a group, created Forbes, they went tits up(have a few, no 243s). Barret went to Forbes group and bought/took over design. Much better finished product. Barrett still has rights to that line of rifles, as in sub 1500$ lightweights, however due to gov contracts had to change tooling back over to Mil weapons. This is the story Barrett told me last fall. I wanted a 6.5x55. Mevin is old as hell now, been making some the most accurate lightweight rifles under Ultralight Arms, then after a failed joint venture, New Ultralight Arms(Nula). I'm glad to hope he made a good chunk of money to see him comfortably throug the rest his days selling out to Wilson. Hopefully they can keep the quality up, and meet demand. Nobody will probably do it like Melvin did though. You're probably aware but Wilson combat purchased NULA, and the barret was more or less a NULA copy.
So if you really want one, call Wilson combat and order a new one.
Edit- holy crap I'm reading $4200
I'd just rebarrel a Montana for that money.
Are you still looking for the .243 fieldcraft? I have one that I don't really want to part with, but I might due to financial reasons. It is the 18" threaded version. Has a Leopold scope mounted on Talley low profile mounts. (not sure of the power off hand) It only has about 5 rounds through it. I believe there may be one or two scratches on it from the past couple of deer seasons. It's by far my favorite rifle and it disgusts me that I'm even thinking about parting with it.Just what the title says. Am willing to part with around 2k for something that is close to new.

Honestly, I'm not much of a hunter. I typically go for the company and to get away from the city. Out of the 4 rifles I own, yes it is my favorite. When I do have range time, I mainly concentrate on handguns due to the crime rate in the city. Not that this really deserves a response, but I'll definitely have seller's remorse if I let this go.Only 5 rounds through it and it’s your favorite rifle?![]()
Yup, I joined because this thread popped up in my search results when I was searching for something else on Google to do with this rifle. But critique away my friend.Joined 15 min ago
I thought I was quite respectful in my response as 2 people seemed to question my validity almost instantly. If anything it makes me want to leave. I'm well aware that I'll get responses of don't let the door hit you... I have a rifle someone else was looking for. That's it. We have had a conversation and pics and such were exchanged. With that, have a good evening and a happy new year.Watch your mouth when you speak to me--friend...
If you ever decide to sell it, please give me a call first. Like leave my name and number in the box. It was a pleasure doing business with you. Thanks again.Just a heads up to those that questioned this guys' validity, the gun was real as was he, and the deal is done. Phenomenal gun.
I'd buy the exact same scope for the 06.Im going to need to decide what optic and game im going to use each for but mainly balistics type info.
Also i dont currently shoot surpressed but it may be smart to have it done if i cut down anyway
.Im just hooked up at work and actually haven’t thought about it much.I did buy a nxs2-10x42 moar scope i planned for the 6.5.Not sure what im going to do on the 06.
