I was on my way back from an Idaho hunting trip with my dad, and got pulled over in South Dakota for 5-over in the interstate. The cop put me in the back of his squad car and questioned me for 45 minutes trying to trip me up to gain probable cause to tear my truck apart. He finally gave up and gave me a written warning for 5 over! When I got back to my truck my 75 year old dad said "What the Hell was that all about!??" I explained to him what a fishing trip is...Adams county is pretty much farm country. I hunted that area for many years. I don't recall ever seeing a black person there. I do know that hwy 32 from Cincinnati east through Clermont, Brown, Highland and Adams counties are not the place to speed or give the PO PO a reason to stop you. My hunting partner was driving a bit fast and we got stopped. Mirrored sun glasses and Smokey Bear hat cop comes to the window and says... Boy, do you know how fast you was driving through my town? I busted out laughing. I thought It was a scene from Smokey and the Bandit. 6 mph over and an out of state tag. Must be a major drug route

Thats tough when youre driving west through Kansas in the middle of nowhere, get stopped, "Because you swerved and I thought you might be drowsy" which translates to "You were driving west bound with out of state plates and you might have some money we can steal." . First thing they did was grab my cell phone so "I couldnt call in a hit on them" while they were searching the car. The whole incident cost me 3 hours and a trashed car. If it hadnt been such a headache they would have been funny like the Keystone Cops. One of them had on a tactical vest that looked like he bought it at Woolworth's.There's a time limit on the amount of time they can detain you for a traffic stop. 45 minutes is beyond reasonable and if documented there's ground for a civil rights violation.
Stunning and brave. Thank you sheepdogs.
Ah yes, in a perfect world. Let me know when we get there. Unfortunately we are headed in the wrong direction for that to ever be the case.To answer that question 'ideally'.
Those who desire to serve and help their fellow men.
It shouldnt be 'Just a job'.
One would hope. These are public officials acting in the capacity of their public jobs.Im thinking that if this goes to court it will be thrown out. Whats recorded inside your own home is sacrosanct...or should be. I think the current SCOTUS would throw it out.

Who signed the warrant? Could it be a judge.
Perhaps the suit should go to the judge that signed off on the warrant.

Did you give them permission to search car? How is "sleepy driving" grounds to detain you for hours and search car?Thats tough when youre driving west through Kansas in the middle of nowhere, get stopped, "Because you swerved and I thought you might be drowsy" which translates to "You were driving west bound with out of state plates and you might have some money we can steal." . No, they got a drug dog and said he alerted on the car. No drugs or money found.Did you give them permission to search car? How is "sleepy driving" grounds to detain you for hours and search car?
You are right, I let me uninformed bias dictate my comment. Difference is I can admit it, both the uninformed part and the bias. A great many people can't and that is part of the problem.Tell me you didn’t watch the video without telling me.
LMAO at the Lemon Cake.
Dude has a nice place out in the country and they're trashing it.
Yeah, I should have been more specific. THEY SAID the dog alerted. All that happened is that they thought they smelled money. My dog smells drugs in your car is usually a total filthy lie that the police use so they can cover up their crimes and hope the jury is to stupid to know that the dog is trained to signal on command.
Much like when they walk up and start lying about "sir I smell the unmistakable odour of alcohol in the car and on your breath", yep bold face lie that they say, hoping the jury is stupid enough to buy it.
Until the police start getting CRIMINALLY charged for false statements, false reports and false arrests nothing will change, it will only get worse until it gets so bad that the good folks finally pull their heads out of their asses and get off their knees, stop licking boots and start getting justice on the streets.
There's already been the "East" vs "West" war/battles/rivalry,,,,, ad nauseum. So I guess now they're gonna do the "North" vs. "South". Sorta-like de-ja-vu.... all over again. He is in the music business.....wonder if he was "swatted" by a rival.
Freakin Police dog shit, pisses me off.My dog smells drugs in your car is usually a total filthy lie that the police use so they can cover up their crimes and hope the jury is to stupid to know that the dog is trained to signal on command.
says who? you? MAYBE, the motherfucker had them there to record any criminals breaking into his house. i know people (ordinary folks) who have security systems in their houses with cameras recording. one buddy even caught a thai exchange student rubbing his nuts all over their food because of it.On the flip side. No way is that dude 100% on the "up and up." That the cops didn't find drugs is not proof that the guy isn't heavy into them. I don't know one way or the other. But, there ain't no one with that many cameras on the interior of his home that ain't into something.
I just have cameras all over my house so I can watch myself banging your moms all over it.On the flip side. No way is that dude 100% on the "up and up." Tone deaf comment. But ok.On the flip side. No way is that dude 100% on the "up and up." That the cops didn't find drugs is not proof that the guy isn't heavy into them. Bullshit. Any smart motherfucker has cameras in their house. I got two in my gun room aloneOn the flip side. No way is that dude 100% on the "up and up." My dog “alerted” to your car is the one you need to pay attention to. What’s the dogs pedigree and his nose trained to smell. My dog smells drugs in your car is usually a total filthy lie that the police use so they can cover up their crimes and hope the jury is to stupid to know that the dog is trained to signal on command.
