I bought the Leupold Mark 5 HD in 5-25x56.

I really like my 5-25 and I am strongly considering getting the 7-35

I understand there can be differences in the same model of a scope, when the power ranges are different

So ... is there anyone out there who has both?

If the 7-35 is as good as he 5-25, I definitely want one

Thanks

Bumping this thread again… looks like the Army is using both 35x and 25x versions. I’ve got the 5-25 and have zero complaints, but may consider the 7-35 on another rifle

Anything is possible. I see the Mark 5HD and the NF ATACR, both with non-illuminated T-3 reticles on the Mk22 sniper rifle. One is on the ASR and the other on the PSR. I have not heard complaints on the Mark 4 HD in 5-25 or 7-35. For the NF, the 7-35 is by far more popular in our shop. The clarity at close-in is fantastic with 10m Parallax.

I am sure there are others who have spend more time between the two brands and the two focal ranges that have more insight.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I'm less interested in the ATACR because if I'm spending that money (and fine with that weight) I'll save some more $ and go ZCO 5-27. I do enough night hunting the 5-25 is probably all I really should be thinking about anyway
