What distance are you shooting & results you're getting? My bergara ridge 243 is real particular about what I feed it are they all like that?
At some point people quit caring what others think about xyz, if it works for you that is all that matters. Many are just trying to justify their choice to others.Seen a lot of hate for bergara lately, maybe they’ve gone downhill some. I have a HMR that is just under 1moa with 4 different factory ammo types. Had it 3ish years. Never an issue but I’ve only got maybe 500 rounds thru it, doesn’t get shot much anymore.
I was simply making a point that, no they aren’t all like that and maybe mine being a bit older could’ve possibly had better qc than what they make now. No justification or approval needed, in fact mine will likely be in the px soonAt some point people quit caring what others think about xyz, if it works for you that is all that matters. I've had the gambit from bottom to top in the smoke pole world, and most all had their place.

Mine liked one factory ammo out of about 14 I tried. It shot Norma SP’s really well, everything else was 1.5” or worse. My bergara ridge 243 is real particular about what I feed it are they all like that?

I have the wilderness hmr 7prc and I'm having a hard time with mine. Even let someone else shoot it. I did all the overspray paint remove and even bedded the recoil lug. I let someone else shoot it as well. Triggertech 4-32oz trigger, ep5 arken scope, wb4 accutac bipod, and everything is torque down. I can hit steel everywhere but the groups at 100 yards are not good at all. I immediately removed the omni brake it came with and put a sidewinder area419 on it. I'm really hoping the Sidewinder brake is the culprit. Removing it and putting the original omni back on is my last hope for this rifle.Ok, last week I bought a new Bergara Premier HMR Pro in 7PRC. I ordered 3 boxes of Hornady 180gr ELDM to break it in with. First 25 rounds best I could do is about 1.5 " MOA at 100 yards, it just would not group. I know I'm no pro, but I shoot the same range with my Fierce Carbon Rogue 300WM and shoot .75" to .50" regularly. So after doing a lot of research, I saw where others have had problems getting groups with some of these rifles and after taking the action & barrel out of the stock, they saw both lugs where the action screws bolt into covered with paint. So I took my Dremel tool and put a small wire brush on it and removed all the paint down to bare aluminum. Also removed overspray from the recoil lug receiver. Put everything back together and torqued to specs. Just shot a 5 shot group that would be 1" with 3 of the five touching. Something to check if your having group problems.
