Can't find a torque value for S&B PMIIs in ring cap screws, warne mountain techs to be exact. Everything I see is with a spuhr mount. Would 25 be ok? I believe my MK4 scopes/rings are around 27, per leupold specs.
in most cases, scope manufacturers wont specify, ring manufacturers will specify what value to torque the screws/bolts to. i dont have my rifle here with the s&b on it so i cant check to tell you what i used, but its mounted in a sphur, i would say i used the sphur specs to torque the rings.

I have a couple Schmidt Bender optics, as well as the Sphur mount, as you're aware 15 to 25 in/lbs is Sphur's recommendation. I personally torque mine at 20 in/lbs. I did call Schmidts technical support, I believe they are out of Virginia and they mentioned Sphur's torque specs are good to use. At 20 in/lbs I haven't had a problem of any kind.
