My pool of Glock is tiny. I bought a G35 the year it was introduced. Yeah, .40 was cool that year. I shot the fuck out of it. Sold it when I got divorced. Bought it back when things were settled. It's in my nightstand. Has 20k + rounds through it and hasn't had a malfunction. I am not a fan boy but this particular one has gone the distance flawlessly.

As a Glock Armorer (Certified) I run a G23 as everyday carry. If you're not familiar with a Glock, there
are vids out there on how to make upgrades (which I recommend)
Easy gun to make better.
