Ingenuity Powder System

This bench would be sooooo much prettier with an IP bulk dropper :)

does that powder dropper bind up at all using the common stick powders?
Yes,unfortunately on just about every throw. It sticks and I have to force it through the stroke. I’m just dropping a couple of grains light and then the IP Trickler does the rest, so if it jacks up the drop amount when it sticks it’s still OK.

Correct. My autodrive sits on the same bench. Pretty much eliminates the movement. I also use sorbethane (duro 50) feet underneath.

I've got a 1/4" steel plate that sits on Sorbothane feet that does much the same thing, yeah - I can bump the bench pretty firmly and the scale doesn't register it at all

Does anyone know what the current timeline is now?
"The current estimate for the first preorders that started 12-19-23 through about the end of 02-2024 should start going out in May. If you preordered after the end of February 2024 then you will be in the second batch of production scheduled for about July. The second batch will go much much faster now that all the kinks have been ironed out in the first production run."

I have no doubt that the Ingenuity system will be one of the bestif not the best out there, but if I would have know it would have kept getting pushed back I probably would have just let my ATV4 order come through. I actually cancelled my ATV4 order when I last talked to Ingenuity about timelines (I think very early fall 24) and thought I was going to get my IP setup fall 2024. Preorder was early 2024 for me

Currently running manual dropper (hornady) with IP trickler using Auto Trickler electronics on an A&D to finish out the charge. And while it works just fine I figured I was only going to have to do charges that way for a pretty limited time.

at least the preorder was really just a waitlist and not a pre-pay.

Just sucks cause a lot of small businesses probably get stuck just like he is now. You create an awesome product, but you have to release some type of content about it to gauge interest before dumping big $$ into production. And then they get F’d by supply chain, material, material costs etc

IP is great on communication etc. if you've ever emailed him he returns calls and is super informative and helpful. Seems like a stand up guy. I hope he’s able to get the issues. Worked out soon and sells the hell out of the systems

Get with MK Machining on shims, they designed a set for the ATV4 and I think an upgraded nozzle as well. May have to direct message them on that
The shims are good to go, they have a replacement powder hopper with shims. The nozzles / small tube tips are still being tested and not released yet, but getting very close. The V4 upgrades make a huge difference in how it performs.
