If you remember me telling this story....well...imma tell it again anyway.
I have eaten bobcat, therefore...i know the flavor and consistency of cat. Cat meat is cat meat.
My favorite Chinese restaurant in Asheville NC had a B health rating. They had the best chicken in town. Know how some Chinese places have chicken drummies....yeah, this one never did. Never served chicken on the bone. Best General Tso's chicken, i still have dreams about it.
Their chicken was always stringy. Now some cuts from older chickens is stringy...but an older chicken is never stark white meat.
White, stringy, delicious. It is cat. Period.
I have eaten far too many critters to ever be fooled. The average person can be served almost anything, and be convinced they are eating something else.
Only the best chinese serves cat...and they certainly do. My wife from England concurs, and assures me it is an international phenomenon.
Was served remora, for cobia, in a restaurant in Marathon Florida. I challenged them about it. I wasn't ugly about it at all. They told me they only got the filets at the dock.....eh.....it was also a seafood market so....no.
I suggested if they were going to serve remora, call it remora, or call it catfish, or hell call is carribean cod, but anyone who has eaten cobia, knows it is not cobia. I had eaten remora...so i knew exactly what it was. The way they acted....hell, they knew they were caught. Never even denied that i was right.
Not the first resaurant i have caught either.

They offered me another meal, real nice about it. I said absolutely not. It was a fine meal, and i was satisfied with the quality and freshness of the fish. Just givingvthem some friendly advice.
I once sat next to someone enjoying a tuna steak that still had a little bit of skin on it with scales still attached to the skin.
The little drumsticks are usually pidgin. Several restaurant fires over the years here have led to discovery of coops on the buildings roofs.
Pigeon is a fine meal.
We used to catch them in the winter in Grandaddy's tobacco barns at night, while they were on the roost.
My grandparents raised pigeons for meat. Dad said you had to butcher them pretty young or they got tough as shoe leather.
Pigeon tastes like dove. Just giant dove. I wouldn’t eat them from in town but out at the feed barn fat on corn…

Aldi “Spam” is best canned meat “loaf” product. I love that stuff. I love bologna, hotdogs, vienna sausages and on and on…. Love is cruel
Second, I am not eating processed foods any more, personal journey stuff.
Third, processed meats like spam, sandwich meats, hotdogs and the like are LOADED with things that are TERRIBLE for your body and absolutely cause metabolic dysfunction at a minimum and ultimately disease. Probably more cancer in a hotdog than a cigarette…..
Single ingredient non-processed food is the way. Get seed oils out of your life, eat real food (as real as your situation allows) and kick the sugar and processed food, exercise …… and watch your life change.

The Treet is in my long term food storage. IE emergencies.
I was just making sure it was still good.
Anything that has a long shelf life, will cause you to have a short shelf life, if you make a habit of it.
Unless you control it from seed stock to table or raise it and process it/have it processed, there is little you can do.
I get the whole health lifestyle, everything will kill you, the water you drink to the air you breathe, we are slowly killing ourselves, directly or indirectly.

The thing is, it doesn’t have to be perfect to be wildly effective.
You’re right you will never get it 100% but if you get it measurably better you will see huge benefit. I never let perfect be the enemy of good.
It isn’t just food either. It is management of your environment as well as you can. If anyone is interested in learning or exploring more, look up doctors Andrew Huberman and Paul Saladino as 2 great places to start.
*** What I am talking about isn’t a “diet”, it is a change in how you view everything that relates to you metabolically. Everything. Both of my parents died of cancer and that is reason enough to be concerned about what affects my body but what will keep me on this path is how I feel. Nothing short of miraculous has this turn around been. I don’t want to preach or be overbearing but if you are sick and tired of being sick and tired…you don’t need more “medicine” you need better inputs.

Its easy to avoid GMO, corn, soybean products, and wheat are something you should eat very little to none of anyway. Bang, just like that you cut out the most common GMOs.
The other big one is tomatos.
The greens are generally safe for now. You should be growingvyour pwn lettuce. Any idiot can keep a fresh supply of lettuce growing, even with the smallest of city yards.
There are lots of easy to grow, quick to mature crops that are still unmodified. It takes effort and dedication.

A few months after banning seed oils (vegetable oil, corn oil, peanut oil, ect) from all products in our home and using *gasp* butter, lard, tallow, avocado and coconut oil products the difference in my life quality is startling. That shit is absolutely trying to kill you and your family. If you only do one thing, stop using this poison (not you specifically Joe)
Animal based eating, fat forward (dirty carnivore for me) and keep additives out. Look at ingredients, can’t pronounce it or don’t know what that shit is? Don’t put it in your body.
Seems like common sense.
