Some of you guys probably already know this, but I’ve been looking for a way to attach my GARMIN chronograph to my recently installed ARCA rails on a couple of rifles. A YouTube video pointed me out to this $20 made in China rail you can get off of Amazon. I am all for made I. USA and area 419 and all that but there ain’t no way Im paying $150 for an Uber clutch bougie mount for my chronograph.

This thing was way too long and way too heavy so I put it in the ice and hacksaws a couple of inches off of one end. Works like a charm.

Or use the tripod that comes with the garmin
If changing targets the radar stays aimed, same as the Arca.
Also depending on the bench used I've seen problems positioning the tripod where bipod/rest blocks it or wasn't room to go in front.
Is just another inexpensive tool that provides a lot of flexibility.

I like to have options. I’ve been places where the ground wasn’t great for the supplied bipod or I’m shooting a long barreled suppressed rifle off a steep bank. I finally order an Arca mount for that reason.

I also bought a quality ground tripod for more stability.
