Rifle Scopes ZCO 2-10 preorders open

Not that there isn’t multiple threads on this, but I’ve been making a list for 11 months now for nothing down :)
But you didn’t email me lol

I was posting more for the $4000 lols but pictures don’t work now.

Are you pre ordering as many as you figured you would ? $4000 is a chunk for a 2-10

Was looking at this pretty strongly for a 14.5 6.5 creedmoor ar10, but at this weight its hard to justify 4k for a 2-10. I bet there is a lot of MPVOs coming out this year at shot and hopefully one fits the bill. March 1.5-15 also looks interesting.

If it’s as legendary as the 420 Il be happy

420 is My favorite glass in the stable.

Initially I thought the 2x was useful, but 2.5-12.5x would have been a better use of their time if not 3-15. I’d have happily given another 1” and 1/4 lb for a 3-15x42 or 44mm from ZCO. Illumination doesn’t save the 2x as the lowlight setting limits overall dial travel and stops just befor daylight bright viable.

The HTR is better than I expected it to be and well thought out for 10x

It’s as forgiving as you’d expect a ZCO to be so pushes farther than others with its more forgiving top end. And I have noticed the difference in performance at distance (600y+) over a Schmidt 8x and can push farther unlike with optics like the gen3 1-10 where I didn’t feel like I gained anything.

What was you takeaway? Which does better at what?
Well after spending time on the ZCO on 10x with a 36mm tube, the 8x of the Schmidt on a 30mm tube felt a bit tight as one would expect.

The TL;DR would be the ZCO kicks the shit out of the S&B at the top end...subtensions at 0.5 mil instead of the MDR-T6 with full 1.0 mil.
And with a daylight-bright, 7y parallax "CC" mode, the S&B kicks the shit out of the ZCO on the bottom end for that kind of stuff.

Ultimate take-away, is the the Dual CC is "downgraded" to a more general purpose optic and the ZCO is taking up the spot on the SPR/DMR. Though bulky, I still like the ZCO over the 4-16ATACR for certain roles.
