First build finally done!! pics

Been awhile in the making...More of an assembly than a build but here are the specs.
700 5R 223
AICS 1.5
Mark 4 8.5-25 M5 turrets
mark 4 base and rings
AAC M4-2000 and break
duracoated by myself and a friend at my unit

runs the best so far on 68gr hand loads

Sounds good, we have a 4 day next weekend so we'll have to go strech the legs for sure just lmk.

What was involved in installing that action into that stock? Does it drop in or is there any fitting involved. I am thinking of buying one myself.

ok will do man took it to about 300 today but further is required lol.

and dead bird it was a straight drop in. took about 5 min and fits like a glove. Definitely try to shoot it before you buy one it has a small grip and many of my gorilla handed friends do not like it.

Looks good. I like the stock AI color. Looks unique and most tend to look alike.

did u buy an air brush to do the duracoat or did u buy the shake n spray? i wanna do mine but dont wana buy all the stuff to do one rifle

It was done with a compressor and brush that a buddy already had. I was in the same boat as you . Thank god for friends that had the supplies.

Well I got one of those buddies too but I don't know. The kit seems easier. I guess ill have to look into it some more

Yeah, once u have everything it's not expensive at all cost me about 40 bucks in paint and the time it took to do it. You can get a compressor at like a pawn shop the brushes I guess are expensive but that's about all you need.

The thing that sucks is its done now and I leave for afghanistan in a few days so it will sit until I return( sad face)
