Took my parts gun to the orchard again today.
Killed 16 chucks from 70 yards out to 291 yards. The big bastid was at 246 yards.
The last picture was at 291, he only gave me a head/ neck shot, so I shot him in the neck.

Sure, it's a Remington 700, 16.5" barrel, Nikon cheepo scope, Gemtec M-4 can.
I was shooting left over HMS 55 grain soft point ammo.

I work next to the airport and every morning there is a rather large badger that comes out and makes his rounds running around there. from my truck he is 105yds, well with in range of my 504T and my Alpine. But the airport is no place to be firing firearms....

Is it the standard barrel or a custom ? What twist ?

Sorry for the questions, but I'm looking at putting a varmint rifle together soon. I was looking at .243, but I like the look of the wood stock on yours.
