Natchez PMC 223 in stock currently!

Yeah, here in Houston that used to go for about 7to 8 bucks a box, a few months ago. Now you can't find any 223/5.56. The range I go to sells steel 223 for 18 bucks a box, so I have to dig into my cache rather than be gouged. I wanna' hit the range so bad but I hate not being able to replace what I shoot so this isn't so bad given the current market. Hell, Gander is selling 22LR blue box for 12 a box, same stuff I bought around Christmas for 2.50 from them, that exceeds what I'm willing to pay. This shortage is cramping my range time.

Apparently not yet. Luckily I have a guy trading me 140rd battle pack of .308 and 220rds of Privi 5.56 for a stripped lower I have. Since I paid $211 for the lower the deal isn't that bad and I'm trying to get ammo whenever I can.

Yeah, hunting down 223/5.56 is taking a lot of work. It's kinda' like gas prices. You pay 2.50gal on Monday, some jackweed raises the price on a perceived scare to 3.50 by the end of the week, then you're glad because the price falls to 3 bucks when you're still paying more than you were before the "event". Ammo is that way currently. I'd like to take my kids out to shoot their 22's but that will have to wait a bit because 22LR is no where to be found at reasonable prices (if you can find it)and I'm not bending over for the prices I see currently or digging into my stash any more than I have already.

I just picked up a Laser Rangefinder this morning that Gander had on sale (Bushnell) and that same $12 Federal ammo is still there. I think most locals here that go to that location have had enough with the gouging. That place is like a ghost town now. Hopefully prices and availability start to improve so I can get back to shooting.
