I'm looking to place a backorder for some powder since I can never find it here. Which of these powders do you prefer for loading both 9MM and 40S&W? I'm looking for a clean, powerful powder that meters consistently.

- Hodgdon TiteGroup

- Alliant BullsEye

- Alliant Power Pistol

- Alliant Unique

If you choose "Other" please specify.

Thanks!

titegroup and unique have given me plenty of shooting fun the last 12 years in both calibers, they are pretty clean burning and their low charge weight is very economical.

I'm using Bulleye since I've used it forever on my 45. Unique works but doesn't meter that great.

If I ever use up this jug of Bullseye, I'm probably going to try HS6 or Tightgroup.

+1 for power pistol. I haven't shot them over a chrono but my 40 smacks steel around better with 6.4g of PP than anything else I have tried using 180g plated hollow points.

In this day and age... use what you can find... During the Dark Days (early 2013) I managed to find a bottle of Unique and was happy to have it. Now a seem to see a lot of Titegroup at my Walmart so I may switch to that. What I really want is AA-7 for my 10mm but I haven't seen it in any stores :(.
