It appears to me that this idiotic cat fight between republicans and democrats, which is the main objective of their existence in the first place, is the main reason why nothing can be done quick enough to let people live and prosper. So, I have a question - is there anything that can be done and still be legal in line with the U.S. constitution? Like a requirement that if somebody got somehow elected or appointed to run something, this somebody got to denounce any affiliation with anything "political" and instead, concentrate on doing some kind of work in line with job requirements?

I disagree. Judges and many other positions are on the ballot in my area with no political affiliation. Of course they still have political beliefs. And, particularly with judges, these beliefs appear to influence them in doing their jobs. I've yet to understand how hiding their political bent from voters helps the voter. Your plan would, in my opinion, make it even easier for politicians to hide their beliefs. It is already bad enough with Republicans lying about their policy positions. Having someone renounce their party preference will, in my opinion, do nothing to change their policy preferences. Better the devil I know, than the devil I don't.

When we do business in this country, subject of political beliefs never really comes out. It's all about money. At most, it may be "pro-gun" or "anti-gun", which is a matter of who is pussy and who is not. Even this subject is not common, and is mostly mentioned between friends. Running the country on all levels for the benefit of everybody is exactly like a business. For this reason, it is completely logical to ban anything, which makes politics an obstacle for doing business. It's exactly like fighting the segregation, no difference. Just replace race with political beliefs, it's the same shit to fight against... If somebody has time to join some club and feel associated, that's O.K. If this somebody gets into power, then cut the crap, stop any associations with the others chipmunks and publicly take an oath to serve all the people but not the club. Serving the club while being on public service should be punishable. Retire from the public service and then join the club again, who cares...
Just my opinion.

I would like to see binding contracts between the elected and the voters . If you run on a platform of blah blah blah I think you should sign a contract that says you're gonna do blah blah blah . In the event you screw the voters there should be monetary if not criminal consequences .

George Washington warned that when looking ve he f political party exceeded love for country we would be screwed.

I think he was right but we have gone beyond that.

Now, reacting to the threat that is Trump, both parties have aligned, with the media, to maintain their oligarchy.

How about you are allowed to serve in one, and only one public position for one and only one term. If you want to be dog catcher, that's your one position and term. You can't come back and be a congressman (or woman) ever. Also, do away with the person status for corporations. You can't contribute money, period. Then limit political donations to something reasonable (like reasonable gun laws) to fifty cents, OK maybe a dollar. In very short order, it would not be a 'career' to be a politician, no lobbies, no special interest, none of the problems they cause so they can provide solutions, none of it. I think we have more than enough laws on the books, so there is no need to pass more of them. Get rid of entitlements, all of them. Let the churches and communities support the helpless. It would sure weed out the helpless that aren't helpless. At the local level, people get tired of supporting deadbeats, they'll help those in need and give a swift kick to those who need that. Just my two cents and my humble opinion. If you don't like it, throw it away, it was free anyway.
