What is the reason they charge so much more for .260 than 6.5 Creedmoor? Less demand? It's not like they are world's different from each other. I can find .260 online that, almost everywhere I look, matches 6.5 Creed prices (FGMM 142 SMK, Hornady 130 ELDM). I also just got a promotional sale email from Prime, 6.5 Creed guys save 15.00/case, .260 you save 5.00/case. This is not a post bashing Prime, I love Prime ammo. Just curious..?

Before Prime hit the market 260 ammo was $50+ per box,

Applied Ballistics and Copper Creek were your choices. Prime was actually listed at $50 before i suggested he change that.

Both Hornady and Federal are big, and their brass is the same, Hornady makes it. This is far down the road for the 260, since Delta started shooting it, a renewed interest brought the prices down, that and Hornady pricing the 6.5 CM so cheap from the start.

But look at what it cost before Hornady and Federal lowered it, it was hard to find and expensive just 2 years ago

This is a 260REM and they have been using it since 14, 15 time frame

I am really pleased to see that Prime has maintained such a serious commitment to making .260 Rem match-capable ammunition widely available. This represents a significant improvement in proliferating the .260.

I have long had a commitment to the .260 Remington chambering and have made some effort to advance its popularity over time. I'm just one voice, but a loyal one.

Thank you, Prime and LowLight, both.

Another +1 for Prime .260 ammo. Great ammo and keeping other manufacturers prices down. I found some Hornady .260 match at better price point but it didn't come with the same accuracy... brass quality or customer service that Prime offers

These are good thoughts. I got 3 boxes, gonna try them out, if they are the same or better than Hornady I will use Prime exclusively, for the above-mentioned reasons.

Prime .260 zeroing my AMG on the bolt rifle yesterday @ 100yds. Center orange dot is 1/4":
    #1 - bore-sighted
    #2 - adjusted .5 mil Left
    #3 - adjusted .1 mil Down
#4 - adjusted .3 Down/.1 Left and shot broke just a bit left (called)

EXTREMELY predictable ammo from this rifle (R700SA - 1:8" Bartlein @ 25", Hvy Palma).
