Seems to be regarded as one of the finest tactical rifle scopes around. Does the origin of the glass matter?

Ive got two, and they could be made by oompaloompas with crushed budlight bottles and where it came from would not bother me at all, glass is excelent, thats all i need to know

Finally, some decent responses to the origin of "glass".

OP, where the glass comes from means nothing. Well except maybe where it literally came from.

Every major glass maker can spec glass to any quality level people are willing to pay. It doesn't matter if it's Schott, Hoya, Ohara etc.

It has more to do with the actual glass design, how meticulously it was ground, how carefully it was indexed and installed and what kind of optical coatings.

As far as the TT, it is possibly imo, the finest example of a tactical rifle scope on this planet.

Uhh I mean... they're terrible terrible scopes. Absolutely no resale value. If anyone wants to sell their useless piles of TT junk, let me know.
