It would be nice if this was true. The primary explosive used by goat fuckers is TATP which is hydrogen peroxide and acetone.

OK, edumacate a dummy from Washington State, where we don't get any of those nasty looking fuckers........I Have never seen anything remotely close to as big, mean, nasty and ugly as that thing. What kind of "turtle" is this ? A Snapping Turtle ? This thing looks like it could take a grown man's leg off below the knee with just one bite. Any information from you guys in the know would be appreciated.
Looks like an alligator snapping turtle. We get good sized snappers here in Wisconsin, but nothing like that.

Yep, alligator snapper. Perspective is an issue but they can get to over 100lbs. Populations were almost wiped out by commercial hunting for turtle soup.
Are they as dangerous as they look ? They look like I wouldn't want to even be in the same state as them.

I say regular snapping turtle. Color of skin and size of the beak is not right for an alligator. An alligator snapper is more reddish/orange, and the beak more pronounced, like a raptor.
The back of the shell is a dead giveaway, but you can’t see it. On second look it may be an alagator. It does look pretty orange, and it’s hard to tell but that may be a hook on its beak...

Well the video shows some of the bite force. I don't think a big one would have any problem taking off a finger or maybe a hand. I'm sure it happens but I've never heard of anyone getting bit. I've got a couple of friends that do alligator snapper research and they've caught/marked/released hundreds over the years without incident. In a former life I was a herpetologist but never worked with alligator snappers.
