CNN showed a video cut supposedly showing the perp at a Trump rally from a year or two ago holding a CNN sucks sign. I find it highly unlikely that they had time to roll threw all the video footage they have of rallies since the election and were able to pick him out in a video within a few hours of the suspects capture. It’s BS!

I agree with you, but if the “bombs” were built with absolutely no ability to detonate... how can he be charged with building bombs and mailing them out? The only thing they should be able to hang on him is when you sign off at USPS that your not mailing anything perishable, or explosive. (ie: gunpowder, not actual explosive devise)...

They don't have to roll through it. Footage is digital. They have facial recognition algorithms. They pushed a button and there is a good chance it's him.

CNN does suck, BTW.

I wonder how secure the intended package recipients are feeling today. I am trying to find the upside here. I'll bet they are a bit jumpy right now. It is poetic that they are Reaping what they have Sown. They did not mind when it was Rep's getting shot up on a ball-field. They are lucky this guy went passive rather than become the active shooter.

The guy's obviously a nut. I don't know enough about it to say he did or he didn't, but it's highly likely he left behind DNA evidence and that's all that's needed to connect him to it. It's damn hard to make a weapon and have it sterile like that, and if it was it'd be impossible to trace because someone going through that much trouble would ensure they were mailed from all over the place. If DNA gave him away and then they found the van, the other shit he's done, yeah, I can believe it. What I don't like is how I'm sure all of us will be lumped in with this guy in the media, whether we truly like Trump or just vote 2A and BOR like I do.

Also, if you were in the military after a certain date (certainly before 2000) they take a DNA sample and put it (illegally) in the FBI criminal database, just like the fingerprints they took of you as a kid. The prints were supposedly to find your kidnapped child and the DNA to identify remains. So yeah, our secret police have been building a database on all Americans one way or another, and the law just be damned.

I agree that the "he is a fruitbat scenario" is more likely at this point. But I have not reached Occam's Razor just yet. Too many unknowns at this point.
The main one being, how did that (those) packages (at least CNN's) travel through the mail without postmarks?
How did they arrest this joker in a Auto Zone at a busy intersection but no one has a picture of it. No employees or bystanders even took one?
How did a guy with a history of Bomb Threats get in a Trump rally without an eyebrow rising?

If there is an accomplice it kinda of throws the Fruitbat theory into turmoil. Do fruitbats now come in groups? I do think the chances are strong this is just your garden variety psycho. But I need evidence before I can complete the logic chain. Too many links missing right now.

Soft pack envelopes do not go through the automated sorting and postmark machines as they tend to get damaged that way. It is very common to receive items in soft pack envelopes that have no postmark on them.

The rules may say that, but I have both sent and received quite a few soft packs using usps and quite often I receive them with no postmark anywhere on the package. This includes packages with actual postage stamps on them.

Extremely f'g easy !!!!!

Trump in stadium.. armed guards at gates, with metal detectors. Wand you, no beep, walk in. Bags went through airport type scanners. No ding, bag goes in.
There were security guards walking, short haired guys with big backpacks, and dog, and a helicopter flying over with a gyroscopic stabilized platform, muzzles out.

If the short haired guys with big backpacks and the dog approached you, questions were asked why you dinged the rad meter. I had a nuclear stress test two days prior.... no problem after explaining.

Any f'g body that wasnt a clear cut obvious threat got in.

I recently heard from a postal friend that any mail that is sent to anyone under secret service protection isn't sent to the homes/address.
They claimed it should go to the SS field office for inspection prior to delivery.
Anyone verify this info?

A good portion of the cancellation is done with a IR ink. May not show up visibly but it shows up to the equipment that processes it.
