It looks like a giant paint marker (and maybe that's what it is) with a big brush on the end and a screw you could turn to regulate the flow. Big aluminum handle. We used 'em filled with CLP in the army for cleaning and lubing MG's.

I really need one and I don't know what the hell it's called or where to find one. If anybody has one they wanna part with, that'd be awesome.

Or if you know what it is and/or where to score one, that'd be cool too.

That's it! Big thanks. Can you believe this one lady at one surplus store wanted $100 for an old used one? Wouldn't come down. That woman ran off more business than I can think of, but the daughter and husband were more reasonable. Too bad SHE's always there, and she's the type that has him make the sammiches. Not kidding.

Wish I'd known about it when I ordered a trigger recently, they had Geissele 35% off --again. Oh well. I'll get one soon now that I know what it is and it's not too expensive. No big hurry, don't plan on taking the M2 out anytime soon.

I've got a brush like this I cut the handle off and used in the army for that when I was a SAW gunner. It's still in good shape all these years later, has thick hard black plastic bristles. I have some paint brushes I use also, just house paint brushes. I probably need to get a good 3 or 4 inch one though, that'd be good for knocking dust off the big bastard.

Well, I finally got the damn thing for $30 something. Ebay. Came NIB but looks like it was made and stored some time in the 60's maybe! Great tool. Nothing but nothing works better to oil and clean a belt feeder. Highly recommend one if you have a belt feeder, especially the bigger ones like Brownings, etc.

Thanks again guys for knowing what the fuck it was called! Marsh Fountain Brush. I suspect they're stencil brushes but I wonder if Marsh knows how good a weapons oiler they make?

I currently use a small paint brush, store in a bag. That Marsh brush looks like it will work. I use mine on AR's, of course a few drops and fingers work also--

I keep my marshall loaded up with ballistol.

Knives going back into the safe for storage they get brushed down, rifles come back from the field they get brushed, pistols same.

As its ballistol if leather looks dry I can hit that too with the brush.

Its like a silicone rag that doesnt dry out.

I filled it once about 6 years ago and it still sounds half or more full.
