    Not only did I do something I literally berate and make fun of people for, but right afterwards I did something else that I never thought I'd do in a million years.

    I just ordered a PSA 5.56 10.5 upper to dick around with and I feel dirty.

    Then I ordered a SBA3 brace instead of doing the whole SBR bullshit again. I feel less dirty on this, because fuck the ATF, but still, EWWWWWWWWWW

    Will be fun to have as a Jeep gun and just a short 'pistol' LOL pistol. But whatever.

    I need a bath.

    If it makes you feel any better, I did check to see if the KAC 6.5CM upper was in stock at Brownells before buying the pistol brace.

    I did the same, put a KAK blade brace on it, And it sits in the side by side. If I do an sbr it has to be unloaded and cased, if I leave it as a pistol it doesn’t have to be in a case. I m happy with it. Not extremely impressed with the trijicon accupower 3-9 that sits on it but it’s tough and gets the job done.

    I have a Doctor RDS from a Mk12 build I have left over to stick on it.

    Will basically be the 'Im shooting at you out of my Jeep' gun or I'll drag it out to hunt coyotes when I do it in the dark and basically have them at melee range.

    In South Dakota you can't have a loaded SBR? Fuck me. The number of places I can live in this country without having a liquidation sale is getting smaller and smaller.

    You can, just not in an atv, sxs, Utv or snowmobile during hunting seasons, no restrictions apply to a pistol though. Sbr makes it a rifle so you have to follow “rifle” regs.

    Supposedly a pistol manufacturer just moved here from Seattle, and I can see why. Dirt work started last week and he’s hiring 10+ employees which is huge for a 1200 population town. That’s all the details I have but I ll be taking his family out to supper first chance I get. I think you’d enjoy our pro 2nd amendment state.

    As a German you should be ashamed. You could have bought an HK upper at 20% off this weekend on the webshop and had a real German pistol. :)

    The ar-15 is an adult Tinker Toy. Don't get me wrong, the AR is a superb platform and the quality of the parts on the market is so excellent that you can put together a 100% functional firearm in about an hour. I literally have a stack of upper and lower receivers. I see a thread like this and I think...10.5" barrel...I wonder what kind of accuracy I cn get with a 7" barrel...and I go build a gun...for about $200. I am looking at GunBroker and see a M60 for $75,000 and I think...I bet I can build an AR based M60 in semi-auto...and I go build an AR M60...and then I build another because the first one was so cool. It's cyber Monday and I actually saw stripped lower's for $15 as part of some deal.

    Hell, at this point I'm more worried about what will happen when I try to leave that 10.5 upper with the rest of the guns. It's the firearm equivalent of dropping off a dirty ghetto kid at some per the plate charity dinner.

    I know the 249 will look down her nose at it, but she's always been a bitch. The rack of KAC stuff will just pretend its not there and I don't even think the legit Tula Krinkov will give it a break because its basically a knock off wanna be Krink. I'm sure I can hide it in there somewhere, but I need to keep it away from the K98s, because, well, we know how that shit goes.

    We should have an annual thing where you go onto Amazon or Walmart and type in the part you need and always include 'tactical'. You then have to buy the 3rd thing that comes up.

    Then you have to take it to the range.
