- Parts supported for 5+ years, so no need to worry about getting parts in a hurry.
- A2 conversion kits will work with A1 and visa versa. Nothing will change there.
- New trigger is not backwards compatible, so you can’t put an A2 trigger on an A1 SRS.
You will not regret that decision. I love everything about mine and dislike nothing about it!
I’ve always found them interesting. Remember playing with one at SHOT the year they were introduced.
Where does one find a covert forend? Looked around a bit, but no luck.

Yup. I had a friend print me one on his 3D printer. I believe this giant thread has the file links to 3D print them.
I didn’t realise they reduced the weight so much and you can change the handguard now. Can finally have an 18 inch 6.5CM with full length handguard.

The 18in barrel wont stick out of the full length handguard. And the inner diameter of the handguard wont let you tuck a suppressor.
And a lot of the weight loss is removal of monopod and lengthening the fluting on the barrel. There is still weight loss on the chassis, just not as much as most are led to believe.

This is correct. Shortest barrel you can run with the full length handguard is 22".
Yes that’s correct but I would just make one now it’s easily replaceable. That’s even I can even legally own one in my country. I’ll have to check.
I'm so tempted to grab a conversion.... But I was about to pull the trigger on the nf 7x mil xt.... Man this screws me up!
