Desert tech blowout. Holy crap!

Future of the A1 Rifle
With this announcement of the new A2 rifle, you’re probably wondering what becomes of the A1 rifle. It has been discontinued, but parts support will still exist. A few things to note:
  • Parts supported for 5+ years, so no need to worry about getting parts in a hurry.
  • A2 conversion kits will work with A1 and visa versa. Nothing will change there.
  • New trigger is not backwards compatible, so you can’t put an A2 trigger on an A1 SRS.

Thank you. Seen two types of wrenches, one is spanner like, and one like a ratchet attachment. I should be able to make either. Looks like I’m gonna have to wade through that giant DT thread.
Yup. I had a friend print me one on his 3D printer. I believe this giant thread has the file links to 3D print them.

I didn’t realise they reduced the weight so much and you can change the handguard now. Can finally have an 18 inch 6.5CM with full length handguard.
That would balance crazy well.
Now I need to find somewhere to order one.

The 18in barrel wont stick out of the full length handguard. And the inner diameter of the handguard wont let you tuck a suppressor.
And a lot of the weight loss is removal of monopod and lengthening the fluting on the barrel. There is still weight loss on the chassis, just not as much as most are led to believe.

This is correct. Shortest barrel you can run with the full length handguard is 22".

Yes that’s correct but I would just make one now it’s easily replaceable. That’s even I can even legally own one in my country. I’ll have to check.
