Rifle Scopes sightron S-Tac 4-20x50 MOA vs Midas Tac MIL 6-24x50

I only have the Midas TAC, but I can't see where the S-TAC is a better choice based on features alone. The Midas has an easy zero stop, capped windage and better reticle options. It also has very good glass and for the price range and it's very useable at max 24x, where I do most of my shooting.

The Sightrons are more touted for their mechanical precision ( accurate turrets and return to zero ) with good glass. Otherwise they are less frilly from what I have seen. Every Midas TAC owner I have spoken to seems to be ecstatic with it.

Thanks for the input :) Ordered both, so i'll be able to compare.
I do like the idea of having quarter moa adjustments and target turret for my intended use ( parper target / bench precision work, but also curious about the Midas Tac..

Interested in how the Sightron stacks up against the Athlon. I'm in the market for a scope and both these brands are in my ballpark. Theres not a lot out there on the Sightrons. I'm looking at the 3-16x S-TAC with MOA3 reticle vs. the 4-20x. But would be great to hear a review of it regardless.

I'm also juggling the Vortex DB 4-16x FFP, MIL/MIL EBRC2 reticle in the same price range. I prefer Mil as it's what I prefer to use.

Looking forward to the review.

I have owned the S-Tac and have an Ares BTR.

From what I read the Ares and Midas Tac share the same glass quality? If so then the Midas is your best bet as the tracking looks to be excellent on the reviews that I have read and seen.
I found the Sightron too washed out and lacking warmth for my eyes and prefer the extras on the Midas.

There is a difference price wise of course based on my research.

I'd love to know how the eye box compares to the Ares BTR as the model I had was the soft clicks and quite sensitive in behind at full power. I'm thinking the Midas Tac would make a great scope for my son's 22 Terminator rig.

I have the S Tac 2.5-17x56.
remember, it is a SFP scope, they are releasing a FFP 4-20 this year.
I am a FFP kinda guy, but I bought the S Tac because it can focus down to 10 yards or so.
Very nice glass for the price point, good illumination, good reticle.
Only 5 mils per turn, new models can be had with zero stop and with 5 mils per turn, is really required.
Accurate tracking, nice tactile clicks and really well made.
