I can't imagine that there were ever as many morons congregating on the hill as there are right now.

Obama already tried to go there. Remember the outrage over congress denying funds for an official study of "gun violence". Obama's plan was to have it labeled a "national health crisis" by the anti-gun medical community thereby opening the door for a presidential declaration of national emergency. You gotta watch these asshole Democrats closely, they are always looking for an angle to exploit.

They have always wanted to destroy the 2nd Amendment. Always.

The statement released these past few days was just their coming-out party.

Well their third. The National Firearms act under Roosevelt. And the GCA 68 under Johnson were the first two erosions. And the people laid down for them after promises that... this is all we want.

Here is some news... Ten Bears has been pushed far enough. So after realizing that the people can’t be persuaded or tricked into giving up their liberties...

Now they are going for use of force and coercion. The very acts that the 2A was intended to prevent.

    Cheers, Sirhr

On another forum, some years back, one member inquired about how to seal a gun and a quantity of ammo inside a PVC tube for long term 'bug out' storage underground.................Another person made this reply: "If it is time to bury em', it is time to dig em' up."

Well perhaps the next democrat president should try it.
It would be a good test of either the states rise up and say FU time for the swamp to be destroyed, or the american people can slide into happy slavery and become a 3rd world country.

Caches are not a bad idea

IMHO, caches are worthless unless you're willing to resist immediately and can still preserve your anonymity and elude capture in order to resupply. Governments, legitimate or not, can and will bring down enormous resources to bear upon those that it suspects of maintaining the ability to resist. We're running on theory with a good bit of romanticization here. The realities that we could face are much more awful than many of us are willing to admit or entertain.

A cache is only good if you are where it is or you are going to where it is, and you can remember where it is.

Squirrels plant entire forests because they can't remember where they buried all of their acorns. The human brain is not as far evolved as we would like to think.

Sometime read about the Congress of 1860... and you'll realize this is nothing new.

Fact is they have been morons since the dawn of time.

Which, I think, is the point. Make them fight against each other. So they can't get things done.

    Cheers,

    Sirhr
Why aren't we collectively/actively financing this and apreading the seeds of distrust ? Oh if and when the feeding frenzy starts . I want the popcorn concession .

On the contrary, I think any one of us with a clear head knows the hellhole that it will become. We all know it won't be a couple weeks, or months, or a year. It could very well be the bloodiest war the world will ever see, especially when the Russians and Chinese come to "help".

Exactly this. The romanization of the idea of being the resistance is vastly different than what will actually happen. I predict it will get worse, much much worse before it comes to blows.

Outside of Hollywood and fond retelling of war stories, war is actually hell. I’m no veteran, but I’m a student of history and somewhat of a realist. When it comes time to actually use the cache, it will be really really ugly.

    That said,
