I have had good luck with their stuff. Thanks, looks like they have the trigger springs too. Need to pick up a few.
They are not selling those in Finland, so i bet that those are not in sale in US too.Does anyone know if you can buy a tac a1 trigger. I am left handed and looking for a 2 stage trigger
Nice rifle, what model Tikka?? 308, Tactical in the Graboe???New grayboe stock came in, thought I'd post a picture of it. Also have a manners t6a and the original stock just laying around....
Sucks they handled it that way.I had sent in my T3x Tac A1 because the magazines were not feeding the last two rounds. After no communication from Beretta, the rifle came back today. They returned two magazines (I sent three), there was no note in the box about what they did, and the magazines still aren't feeding. Disappointing experience.
Beretta seems to let down the experience of owning a Tikka.I had sent in my T3x Tac A1 because the magazines were not feeding the last two rounds. Tikka is back in the safe. If anyone in Aus is looking for a rifle chambered in 7mmSAW, this one’s up for sale.
I’m a massive fan of the calibre mate, just have 3 rifles chambered in it now so want to move one alongWhy are you selling it? Didn't like the SAW?

Yes, I’ve tried that in one of the magazines, but it didn’t help. These springs are very weak to begin with compared to every other magazine I’ve seen. I think I will probably sell the rifle.https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/6894160/3
Try this for a fix for your magazines. Seems to be working for most guys.
Interesting. I just ordered a TRG magazine (since Beretta stole my third mag anyway). It didn’t occur to me that they’d be different. It seems that the ctr/tac a1 magazine just a poor quality steel on the follower spring.
When i had my first T3X CTR, i did noticed that poor magazine, tryed it for couple times, and bought TRG original magazine from SAKO.
Never had any issues with the TRG magazine, you can not even compare Tikka magazine to TRG, material are totally different quality.

Yes, after reading your comment above I ordered the TRG-22 mag from EuroOptic. I am hoping there is a difference.Did you get this magazine, the TRG mag.

If it is not that, you have been fooled.
Where do you think that price difference is coming to against the CTR magazine?

I do guns daily, i work in gun store.
Just shot factory 143 ELDx over my MS sporter last wknd. Was getting 2571-2579fps averages with an SD of 17-19. This out of 24” blue 6.5 Creedmoor CTR.
Anyone else getting the same?
Also more of a tikka thread question: what makes the factory tikka barrels so slow? It seems to be universal.
So I ordered this yesterday and it arrived today. I ran some rounds through the TRG mag. You were right. No feeding problems. Now I just have to face the sticker shock when I buy a second one!I bet my ass off, you will know why you payed that extra
Sako TRG is build to military specs, Tikka might not as that tight tolerace, or it would be a hard compeater to TRG.
Should be 5/8x24Guys, I’m looking to get a muzzle suppressor for my Tikka T3X TAC A1 6.5 creedmore. Can anyone help with the thread specs for that rifle, as I’m new to precision rifles. Thanks!
It is 5/8x24. Look in this catalog from Tikka. http://tikka.fi/sites/default/files...ka T3x TAC A1 sparepartcatalogue 20042018.pdfAny more confirmation?
I have a Tac A1 in .308 with a 16”. Did a lot of research prior to purchase. Not much drop in velocity with the 16” and I just don’t shoot long range anyway. Adding a suppressor, the barrel is once again long.Anyone have a Tac A1 in 308 with the 16" barrel? What do you think of it. Although i'm looking for a 6.5, I found a smoking deal on a Tac A1 in 308 with the 16" barrel. It's tempting, depending on how it performs. Would be handy and save some weight. I know it owuld take a pretty big hit to velocity though.

Adding a suppressor, the barrel is once again long.. Odd sized m18x1 threading at the muzzle. Trigger is the best I have ever felt. And I have felt things. I have only shot 12 rounds but damn. Best group I have ever shot. Mags are silly expensive!

CTR 20"+24" and all the TAC A1 with 24" are 5/8x24 threaded.
TAC A1 20" 308win is with 18x1.
That M18x1 Sako, is European thread, very common here in heavy barrel threading.

My friend has a T3 CTR, and I have a T3x Varmint. My Varmint has a stainless bolt, while his CTR has a teflon coated bolt. The other day we cycled them side by side and it seemed to both of us that the stainless bolt was significantly smoother than the teflon one. Both receivers are blued, and we've tried each bolt in each receiver. The teflon coating just seemed to produce significantly more friction upon contact with the receiver. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced the same thing? If that's the case, then what is the point of the teflon coating?
