Sorry About California buying every mag in the country

who said i had a point? when the hell do i ever really make a point? it seems that you always seem to find a negative in almost any post. not saying you are wrong, i just find it funny where your perspective seems to always be.
It’s probably AJ’s fault anyway.
Buy more ammo

Buy more ammo

When a man has a little age, he sees the shitty change this country has undertaken. It will make you negative and the negative sayings are mostly truth!

practical common calibers in practical rifle shooting is important. stick with 223 and 308,,, get a 18inch 308 for pragmatic purposes. have two war calibers one or two sprcialty calibers for bolt guns and keep it simple... no need to go with anything else

22LR, 5.56, 9mm, 308, 6.5 CR, 7mm RemMag, 300WM.

Done :)

with close to a half century under my belt, i’ve seen a thing or two in my day. i’ve had people close to me murdered, in several different events, two events so horrible they both made national news. i’ve lost a child, i lost the woman i loved more than anything. a whole bunch of very dear friends along the way.
i served with the 82nd airborne as an infantryman, i did a bit as an LEO. i’ve scrubbed shitters, drove truck, worked in factories, and spend the last 22 years working in the telecommunications industry. i’ve also spent quite a few years in the outlaw motorcycle world.
so you aint talking to some dumbfuck who aint seen nuthin’ yet. i’ve seen my share of shit, maybe more than my share.

and i still say that some of you need to take a walk and smell the flowers, so to speak. look around and find some of the good things out there, instead of focusing on the bad. there are times i really worry about some of yall.

I will be the first to say, take all the STANDARD capacity mags you guys can afford! I'll be glad to wait on back order for mine. Californians should get the priority. They've been living under severe government overreach for far too long. I'll wait to resupply my two cases of AR mags. I usually only kill 2-3 mags a year in training. I'm just hoarding at this point.

We in the great state of Commiefornia appreciate it! After being suffocated by gun laws here this tiny little breath of air is a Godsend. Sadly it's almost guaranteed the 9th circus will strike this down and put all us gun loving comrades back in chains

I think the ninth is going to screw it up and probably put back the ban without the taking but at least this gives people a window.

I'm pretty much set now. I have enough for everything I have and I'm not thinking of expanding my collection very much beside bolt actions which really don't need 11+ round magazines.

The bad part is that a lot of people had to spend more on stupid 10 round magazines and now they are spending again. It's still a taking.

So my guess is every magazine that holds more than 10 rounds was purchased between 5 pm Friday and now by folks in California.

I want to say CA banned new 10+ round magazines in 1999/2000

The gun forums are a buzz and it seems like California’s non voting gun owners have purchased every mag in the states

So if you see stock Glock mags for $35& up
Magpul AR mags for $25 and up

I simply would like apologize as someone who lives out west

Why is it assumed that there’s a substantial amount of non-voters?

Maybe the 15 million illegals who don’t pay any taxes but get bank accounts and IDs from bank of American are the ones voting this shit in. Maybe the soft as hippie faggots are just ok record numbers on these costal states. Also California’s are typically emotional and dumb, but that doesn’t mean they don’t vote.

If you just read a little you will see. Prior to 2016 the law in California grandfathered mags prior to 2000. (you could still get "parts") in 2016 a new law was passed banning anything more than 10 rounds no matter purchase or age of mag. in 2017.......
......The judge that made this ruling originally ordered a stay of the law taking affect.
The state appealed the stay to the 9th, which upheld the stay.

The court case then had to go through the courts (not sure of the order below this court ruling or if there is one)
It reaches the same judge who ordered the stay, and he finds against the state. The state lost big time, not only did they loose the grandfather clause but the entire banning of mags.

this stay was all done with court/judges that did not involve trump. He has strengthened the 9th circuit since the stay was issued.

Personally I think you guys have a pretty good chance.

I shouldn't have to type all this but it is obvious some are lazy.

I don't have as much hope, the local governments have formed legal groups like ABAG which are loaded with anti-gun lawyers and split the liability for bad laws between all of the members so each member can pass whatever unconstitutional law they want because worst case they only have to pay for a fraction of the liability.

While the ninth circus is getting better, it still takes some luck to get a good three judge panel and I think we are still screwed en-banc.

It's bad.

At this point, I don't think anyone in California should be blamed for possessing second amendment protected arms which the state calls "illegal".

Buy what you want, no judgement from me, just be smart and don't get caught.

I just think that people don’t seem to grasp that the anti guns people exist far more in some states than pro gun. It’s not a matter of not voting. It’s a matter of people out weigh the mentality of not caring about what’s constitutionally protected

Yes, California is a honey pot for all the fruits and nuts in the country.

It has been that way since the 60s and the balance of power changed in the 80s to 90s, it was conservative before that.

While the Mexicans in the state don't help, that's not the biggest factor in our messed up politics.

I think it's funny now that California has no way of knowing when magazines were purchased, so any previous ones that were sitting around are pretty much good to go even though they are prohibited from bringing them into the state again.
