If this guy is actually a Felon, and is carrying a firearm, and doing this stuff drawing attention to himself, he deserves to be arrested for stupidity.
Splain to me how known felons are walking around everyday with firearms that cops know about, yet nothing is done until they compete with gov?

If he had not been a felon, I am sure they would have "conveniently" found kiddie porn or drugs on his property...

Now, many of the "refugees" that were detained by this group probably are MS-13 members or drug runners with the cargo still on them. I wonder how many of them did the fibbies investigate or arrest...Hmm...

The only thing that happened when that dumbass posted the video was give the liberals a platform, period.

"Today's arrest by the FBI indicates clearly that the rule of law should be in the hands of trained law enforcement officials, not armed vigilantes," New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas said in a statement of Hopkins's arrest.

They have been down there for half a year or better and crickets.

Patriots have performed greater acts without the frucking internet, let that sink in.

Ah, ok..

I can't "splain" that, all I know is every felon I caught with a gun went to jail...… for being a felon with a gun.
Interesting as most CI's are felons an most carry a gun. So let me understand this. If I am helping you an am a felon I get a pass, if I don't work for you I go to jail. Is that about it?

Ok... any LEO who allows a CI to carry is responsible for his actions. I would never allow it. No cop I ever worked with would ever allow it. I did see Nick Nolte allow Eddie Murphy to do it though....

I don't have an issue with a felon carrying a gun. As I don't blame the item for the actions of shitheads. You blame the car for the drunk driver who kill those people just coming from or going to church? The felon was released so he must have paid his/her debt right? Or were they released to make more money for the Just-Us system?

My original point was, if you are a felon carrying a gun, which is illegal and you know it's illegal, and you go out and do something to call attention to yourself, you are not the smartest knife in the drawer..... regardless on personal feelings about felons and guns.

Are you LE? How many felon's have you caught with a gun and sent to jail? I have to ask because any data I have seen shows a far lower conviction rate than you suggest. Here is a sample from NY that shows about 31% conviction https://www.nytimes.com/2013/01/21/nyregion/prison-not-as-mandatory-as-ny-state-gun-laws-say.html
I was..... a lot..... and you are conflating what the police do with that the courts do.... and Ii also did not work in a cesspool like NYC

I fully understand an support that, however many a CI carrys a gun an that info is known to/by their handler.

Was that guy in Oakland that shot up a bunch of police with an SKS a CI?

Very much felon, very much should have been in jail. At first the cops and media tried to spin it as a reason for more gun control laws but the story fell apart and then we heard nothing.

It seems like a lot of stuff that "never happens" is happening all the time.

That happens a lot in some places because the ci is the 3rd son of the 5th sister, who is the momma of the officer and ci.... who have the same grand-daddy, who is the mayor.... and the mayors grand-daddy was his daddy too, in some places.....

So you caught a lot of felons with guns, and in every case the DA charged them, every one was convicted, and in every case the sentence involved jail. This is how it should work.

Yep, up in the hills. Makes payin child support real interesting. Have to get the 5th son of the 7th daughter to grow pot, and the 7th son of the 9th daughter to do the moonshine just to keep groceries on the table.

Apparently not only is the government refusing to defend the country, they want to also send a firm message that nobody else is allowed to defend it either.

That being said, if you want to skyline yourself, you best make sure you are squeaky clean because the Deep State and the Communists are going to come after you hard and if they can find anything, all your "friends" among the "patriots" are going to sit on their hands and say something like "well they say he was a felon so I guess whatever" as you get shown the full treatment of what happens to "subjects" that think they have "rights".

The government is 100% efficient when doing something benefits their interests. Many gangbangers, drug dealers, street trash , and even sex offenders "escapes" the attention of the law because spending the resources to catch them does not generate enough rewards to be worth it.

If you present a big enough irritation and disruption to the powers that be, they will be able to get you no matter how clean of a slate you may think you possess. Even if you are 100% goody-two shoes, they will manage to "find" something highly sensitive on your premises.

If you are a felon and you get caught with a gun you will be arrested and charged in my neck of the woods. Now, if you don't plead out and go to trial you may get off on some technicality or as my old man used to say, "Never underestimate the stupidity of a jury." Felon in possession is usually plea fodder charge. It is usually dropped and the main charge (say robbery) sticks if the felon takes a plea deal. This may explain the conviction rate vs the arrest rate for the crime.

Larry likes to pretend he was something he really wasn't

I guess I missed the part in the second that said anything about BS "prohibiting offenses"

If they are that dangerous keep them in jail.

"No free man shall be disbarred the use of arms"

But the founding fathers are idiots and duck thier laws right

Possession should not be a crime Especially if a firearm
Felons do not have the right to own a gun. If they wish to they should seek a pardon. While some felons may have been wrongly convicted and other truly reformed far to many remain a danger to society. They should never be allowed to vote or own a gun.

You also have the right to liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. So prison is unconstitutional? No Prison for criminals is not unconstitutional, because by committing crimes and being convicted they loose their rights. Next you guys will want to join NY's Gov Cumo in thinking they should be able to vote. He is wrong, as are you guys on this.
