Besides the pull weight what is the difference between the Special and Diamond model? Sorry if I missed something but could not find anything on the topic.

I have the primary and it sits very well with me. (If anything, I'd upgrade to the special.)

You might find that a trigger too sensitive might lead you to pull shots if you don't have other guns that have a similar trigger pull. In my example, after shooting factory striker/hammer fired pistols, I'd have to for a few mags with the 22lr bullseye pistol to get reacquainted with the trigger mechanics.

If you're lucky, try them in the stores!

I had the original from 2015 with the carbon roller, 89 bucks back then. like a fool I turned it in when they done a recall, best trigger I ever had. As for the differences I just run a basic at 1.5lbs, the more its used the nicer it gets, I do a few. I tried the diamond and yes its nice but I dont run a very light trigger and its quality would be lost on me.

Just received my TT Diamond flat trigger and this thing is amazing, plus super easy to install.

The flat diamond is what I'm considering on a bolt gun I'm building, have you had any experience with it compared to the special? I'll be going with a 1 - 1.5 lb pull weight so I'm trying to figure out if paying extra for the diamond is worth it since the special will fit my needs for pull weight.

I have both the diamond and special with flat shoes and at one point, had both on the same action. I couldn't tell the difference in feel or function.

Thanks the the info guys, I may just keep an eye on the PX here and if a flat diamond or special comes up at a good price I don’t think I could go wrong with either.

@Ruskin are you happy with that Viper Barrel vise?
The Viper barrel vise has been top notch so far. My only regret is I waited this long to by a good barrel vise. It's a life saver.

Thanks for asking the question OP, I’m new and in the process of piecing together a list for a build and was lost on the difference as well. But settled on just the TriggerTech special flat since I have heard so much about how the flat trigger makes a difference.
