Especially if anyone has them on a P226....any of you guys try the Hogue G10 grips? If so I'd like to hear your thoughts on grip size, grip finish and overall thoughts. Also if you tried the E2 please let me know your thoughts. I put a short reach trigger on and now just love my 226 even on DA first pull that fixed it. Wouldn't mind a tad smaller grip and have heard the checkered is just a smidge smaller overall, piranha a big bigger. Thanks for any of your experiences.

Love the E2 grips and I wear a medium glove. The standard grips I’ve shot seemed way to large and the trigger reach was difficult. I should be getting some Talon grips for the E2 panels though. They need a bit more bite to them, but I like A TON of grip. I want the gun to bite my hand.

Oh try out the Grey Ghost flat faced trigger, two way adjustable and really makes the SRT shine and further decreases the trigger reach.

I talked with hogue and the textures are all the same grip size, only the texture changes. I have a 226 and m11-a1 with checkered g10 grips and they are outstanding. Completely improving the tactile purchase on the weapons and look classy as hell. Fit and finish are better than I had expected, and much better than factory.

Ah thanks that is great! Did you happen to cover if the Hogue is the same size as the stock plastic Sig grips or are they possibly a bit smaller? Nice to know regardless of texture the sizes are the same though....would be awesome if they were just a smidge smaller than stock Sigs. Thanks man really appreciate it.

I thought i would love the E2 grips..they felt so nice in hand at the shop .....however when shooting i found them to be much too small for my liking.

    I tend to wear a large glove...size 8.

When shooting a 1911 or a Hi-Power i tend to prefer thinner grips but for the Sig P226 the standard grip size is much more to my liking.

Absolutely agree about the Grayguns modifications....Bruce Gray does amazing work.

And thanks for the info on Grays.....I'm liking it now with the short reach trigger gonna roll with that for a while. Might put the SRT in down the road just wanna get some grippier grips and if smaller that would be great, but seems like some Hogues are on th elist for sure.

They feel slightly slimmer and better proportioned in the hand than the stock grips, and the bump at the top left of the grips is less pronounced in the g10 hogue grips. My guess is they sit between the stock 226 grips and the E2 grips. Perfect for me. Hope that is helpful.
