Impeachment proceedings in the House (which mean fuck all without a trial in the Senate and that's not going to happen) will energize Trump's base like nothing else.
You misunderstand what they're doing. They're not going to remove him from office. That's not the goal. He's being made an example.
If you are an outsider and rock the boat you will be hounded, investigated, impeached, accused, and downtrodden every minute of every day you sit in office.
And when it's all over, what will you have accomplished? Other than perhaps surviving the miserable term of office.

couple that with the FBI raid on democrat state senators offices in Chicago, and ilhan omar saying that impeachment is the only way he doesnt get elected, and Nancy is trying to provide cover for her failing party.
i can only hope the public backlash is going to be swift and brutal against all thing Democrat Party.
Could be right I dunno. I can't resolve their thinking unless they know it's a home run and they have something no one else knows to reveal. If they can't remove him from office where are the upsides other than proving AOC and The Squad run the party now? If he stays in office she has put a ton of House seats in play next year I'd imagine there are a bunch of Dems thinking 'what is this woman doing trying to get me fired?'. With the comments she made no Dem can not get behind it now.

Meh, I’m not 100% sure that Trump didn’t play them here. With that said, most of this is political theatre. Impeachment doesn’t really mean anything, now removal is a different story. If they tried and got away with that you could bet your ass that that would be a good measure for figuring out how many people would resist any weapons ban or confiscation. My bet is nobody would do much of anything which would be a clear indication that most people would turn their shit in. The good news is, the voter will get to make a decision soon and I’m hoping even the Dems stupid base will see what kind of stupidity the Dems have been doing and will vote accordingly. They’ve done nothing but waste time and money since Trump has been in office and most of us on both sides are sick of it. Just think about what the fucking criminals could have got done if they actually worked together. And I find it laughable that pelosi for ul there yesterday and lectured us on Constitutional principles and stated that nobody is above the law! Really? There is no smoking gun text to be put up. I subjected myself to both wings of the progressive news MSNBC and CNN to find it. The assumptions they made, dots connected is akin to getting a weather report out of reading goat entrails. Problem for Dems is now AOC proved to Pelosi and the world she runs the party and Pelosi is simply the Dem speech reader.....no stopping it now full balls progressive.
