I travel there every month for a week to visit HQ. I like the city and some of the people that I met but DAMN....how you can live there is beyond me. 6 days a month is enough for me.

The main thing I like here is the amazing food, the restaurants. after that, well there is no after that everything else sucks.

I disagree with you on your above posting. During all the assorted investigations and oversight hearings the House and Senate were doing, all subpoenas that were challenged in court by Trump administration and the court decided they had to comply, Trump admin complied with documents and/or witnesses.

During the impeachment hearings, the House (Legislative Branch) issued subpoenas that the Trump Admin (Executive Branch) took issue with. Trump admin challenged the validity of the subpoenas in court (Judicial Branch). This is called 3 co-equal branches. When two have a beef, they go to the other for arbitration.. moving along.. During the time the courts were deciding on the validity of the subpoenas, the House withdrew them without waiting for the court to make their decision.

Then, the House decides to "charge" Trump with "obstruction of Congress" for not complying with subpoenas.

Huh?

Yes, you read that correctly.

As I said, he IS dumber than a box of rocks.

Taverns are pretty nice too. I went to the same place overnight. Bartender was great. Got a drink for free every night. Talked to a cavalcade of people through the week. No drama and no tension. Will be visiting that place again

Glad you got a free drink. I had two martinis at Campton Place and it cost me $40. Prices are getting insane. This is what my local grocery store is selling. A dozen apples will cost you forty bucks.
