when I voted Tuesday in San Francisco

Somewhere I read that there's more registered gun owners in the state of California than there were total votes in the last election.
So the Fudds aren't voting?

Wake up or the crap in Virginia, New Jersey, NY, California..... Will be on your doorstep.
VOTE!!
Its all about the lawyers. Liberals took over the administration of law schools in the 1970's leading to Feinstein's first ban on "assault weapons" in the 1980's. Liberals own the law schools and they decide who the students and faculty will be. Anyone who's not liberal is deemed "unfit" to attend the law school. Sad thing is these administrators are not necessarily well educated. They create a bubble of fear in which no one dares speak for conservative viewpoints.

When working in SF, I stayed at the Candlestick RV park as it was cheaper for me to do that then rent a place.
Called a guy who was looking for roommate, he said he had 6 people renting and staying in a one BR apt.--Not Me.
One of my co-workers was renting a Tuff Shed in the back of this guys place for 1100.00 a month.
Glad to be gone from there, they did ask if I'd go to LA for a project, reply was "I've seen enough of Commiefornia and I was gone

If ballots are labeled as “Republican” or “Democrat” - it would be awfully easy to “accidentally” misplace all the “Republican” ballots when the ballots were “accidentally” left in somebody’s car trunk and they have to go to a hand sort/recount to figure out how many ballots end up in the burn barrel..., uhhh, errr, I mean were counted.
That's definitely happening I just don't know to what extent. Liberals think its their duty to "correct" you, so some will surely think its good to trash republican ballots.

When I first moved to San Francisco after the military I was looking for a room to rent and these Chinese nationals wanted to rent one side of their living room with draped sheets dividing the room. There was going to be like a family of six living on the other side of the sheet. I said, "Let me give that some thought and I'll get back to you."

True story... When I joined the Navy, my home address was my dad's in Arkansas. After being in the Navy for 2 years, it occurred to me that Arkansas was not my state of residence, and even my dad wasn't living there at the time. Yet, I was paying state income tax (deducted from my paycheck). So, I asked the Purser's office how I could stop paying Arkansas taxes. They told me to simply establish residence in another state (that doesn't have such taxes). How to do that? Register to vote in that state and establish an address. Well, my grandparents lived in Florida, which is where I was planning to go eventually, anyway. I also had a family reunion coming up.

So, I went to the reunion and asked my grandmother if she could take me to register to vote. My grandmother and great aunt came along. Both were Jewish (originally from NY).

I walked up to the counter and the clerk asked me, "Republican or Democrat?" When I answered, "Republican," I heard my grandmother and great aunt (about 10 feet behind me) AUDIBLY GASP! LOL! The ride back was quiet.

Yep... I'm a black sheep in the family. Wait... can we still say "black sheep?"

How is a polling place in a private residence even legal? That's incredible. Not in a good way
It's been that way in SF as long as I can remember. I voted there from the early '90s to the early '10s, always in some dank garage with high school volunteers handling the ballots. Now that I have left my birth city and moved to the United States, I realize that wasn't all that normal.

It was part of a liberal concept of putting the polling stations in your own neighborhood to make it easier to vote. For some reason liberals are deeply attached to the notion that conservatives are trying to block minorities from voting. Its all part of their bullshit lore.

The BAR Association is highly liberal as are most all federal employees.

Of 14 federal agencies audited (over $200 donations by fed employees must be reported) Over 95% of donations made by federal employees went to democrats in 2016.

I walked in and it was like Norm walking into Cheers. Then the lady said I need to see your ID. I told her I Left it at home. She said " it's a good thing you live close by".
These people know me, my children, my wife, my in-laws and where I live. No ID no vote!
I laughed and started digging in my wallet for my driver's license and showed it. I looked down and she had filled out the card and marked it for the repukian primary.

San Francisco polling stations haven't asked me for ID in more years than I can count, the motherf*&kers.

Tuesday I went to vote against Nancy Pelosi, I live in San Francisco. Polling station was in someone's garage and there was a dozen people in a small space and I give the guy my name and he finds my name in the ledger and says to the girl next to him, "hand me a republican ballot" and she looks at me with her eyes getting wide and suddenly everyone turns and looks me up and down like "there's one of them". I almost said, "yeah get a load of me, this is how a republican looks".

I was scoffed at when I voted the other day as well.

In someone's garage?

Yeah, seems a bit odd.

That was my reaction. In a private residence? I've never been to one that wasn't in a public space.

Me either!

Well, probably explains a lot about the voting patterns in CA.

It was part of a liberal concept of putting the polling stations in your own neighborhood to make it easier to vote. For some reason liberals are deeply attached to the notion that conservatives are trying to block minorities from voting. Its all part of their bullshit lore.

See above. How do we know that they didn’t somehow change your vote? Did it go into a machine or what? They probably wanted this for more of a rig the system deal than a make it easier to vote deal. This certainly raises some eyebrows imo. Perhaps some investigation on this is in order.

About the same as moving mine from the local fire station to a church a block away. Does it really matter?

yeah. id say there is a big difference between a church and a private residence. especially since Churches, as non-profits, are prevented by law from touting a political campaign.

From the IRS:
Currently, the law prohibits political campaign activity by charities and churches by defining a 501(c)(3) organization as one "which does not participate in, or intervene in (including the publishing or distributing of statements), any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for public office."

So, in essence, a church is almost a perfect place to have a polling center as they are still governed by non-profit laws.

i cant say the same about voting in someones garage.

I don't think churches would be much different but that's just me. I don't trust churches to always do the right thing and they always throw the God & Bible thing when questioned about things, history has shown that they can be just as bad as anything else.
You really wouldn't expect anything different from Commiefornia the something being against the COOTUS would you????
