C-19 Roamer control central

Reading on facebook rumors about the Stanford act coming to Michigan.

Who really knows, it's probably mostly internet talk and bs.

You mean the Stafford Act?

Travel lockdowns should be considered inevitable at this point; the only question is timing, and that's going to be determined by political motives.

IF YOU READ, the emergency declaration actions, the fine print SAYS, FEMA is the gov aid agency to provide needed supplies and assistance. Its there, go read all the news articles, find it on your own.
IF YOU READ, the declarations, it says when the emergency becomes a national disaster, FEMA is top dog and runs the show.
IF YOU READ FURTHER, the fine print allows .Gov, FEMA, OGA, managing the disaster, to , IF NECCESSARY, to declare Martial Law, to bring all .Gov options to the table to manage the disaster. Just like Katrina.

So, yes, FEMA has the authority to do lockdowns IF .Gov determines it best to control the disaster.

And I read one (1) news article that said some f'tard governer said "she" was prepared to go that far. One.

I have not heard or seen anything from bad hair orange, CDC, or WHO that indicates the US is near that point.
The last Surgeon General report (today) said the US is like two weeks behind where Italy is right now, and US response depends on well current containment efforts work, almost a wait and see thing, THE WAY I READ IT. YMMV when u read and see it.

But, YES, enforced quarantine HAS ALREADY happened in the US, to at least a hundred people and the world didnt come to the end.
A couple of mil base zones are now restricted and travel restrictions are in place. Ok, that's not exactly new either.

The most current PROFESSIONAL thought is that. Gov SHOULD report daily to the people to prevent panic and how to better treat the emergency.

Around here, the actions are pretty open and communication to the public is good. Our Governor hasn't threatened us with a FEMA camp yet.

This is getting stupid as fuck. Here is a funny story, if they make me and my co-workers stay home...........................................................................16,000,000 people will not have electricity. Top that Corona virus.
I fully except that to happen is some a/o's,... an if it does it will all go down hill rapidly. The local chinamart food section looks like a bomb hit it. Word is most were from Ga that bought everything up. On girl said "it was a fucking zoo this past weekend" her words this am. All other stops, bank, auto parts, scrap yard, range,...normal.
I would have never expected this to happen here, even with people from GA doing the buying.

Alabama Power (publically) is letting certain staff work from home, as of this morning, put extreme cleanliness standards in the offices that must remain open to the public, recommending the drive through, drop payboxes, or electronic payment,
and anybody sick, fevered, or symptomatic, stay home until well.

Havent see the "Emergency Repair Crew" guidelines yet.

Being as we have Fire/Rescue/EMS responder members here, would be nice to hear their current 'protocols'.... just sayin.

2 cases were in Centre Al 2 weeks ago. However because they went to Floyd in Rome Ga. they were counted in Ga.
Rome had has issues for over 2 weeks prior to the Centre cases.

JW,
Spooky had said last call, he believes they have had it at his W/P for over 4-5 weeks now.

That part should just be common sense, always.

Comrehende, Si' ... it's been here too...
If you believe between the lines what they told the officers working ER security... just sayin.
After we spent the evening in there, find out the next day, 1st confirmed, and then woman had to be there the following two days, and, when she asked them IF she needed to worry, AND IF she needed to work the poors kids school lunch wagon during the school shutdown....
Well....
I bought a batch of groceries today... just sayin...
Shes not working at the school lunch wagon at least 14 days, maybe more, who knows. Fuckidol. Yeehaaa.
Found out what they told the first responders. Same thing they told u early 60's.... moving right along... ??

To us, it is. To the people who use the emergency room for rotten tooth dental care, it's not quite there. There are some who need a tad bit more explanation, unfortunately. ?

I have worked a lot of places where people are discouraged from staying home when they are sick. The food service industry is probably the hardest on people who call in.

I've had a couple of jobs like that. Told to come in, period, just have the courtesy not to die on the job, or words to that effect.

It's one thing for people forced to come in to survive a job, when life puts you there. Gotta do what u gotta do.

Its another to cough hack and piss in the Walmart parking lot on a beer run, and some of them come in the power company office to pay part of their bill, and ask for an extension, then drop the beer can in the parking lot on the way out. Then they go cough, hack, in Waffle House....
Those people give rednecks like me a bad name, just sayin... ?

Step daughter works in a restaurant when she's not playing college student. 6 days ago she was sick and called her boss. He told her to come on in to work.
What's wrong with people?

It is a health department violation to make someone work in a restaurant with a fever or diarrhea. It still seems to be common practice to tell people to come in. I think a lot of the restaurant mangers have no training and/or ignored their health department, and using chemicals safely training. I see cleaning supplies, I know are designated not to be used in food areas, being used in food areas. I honestly trust a restaurant more if its a little dirty anymore. My immune system can take that.

Was in 2 gun shops today and both were selling guns. Not sure if you need to tighten or loosen the tinfoil cap.
Not my tin foil, he said he went in just before closing an was told everyone would be delayed until then. He said OK I'll come back next week after the delay an the shop owner told him he would not get it before 4-9 ??? I have no clue was asking those who ran a shop if something changed rapidly in the last few hrs. I could care less but others might,..

That was the way it was here until the Sheriffs fucked it up by, allowing so many prohibited to get a CCW. That per the ATF

Yep, the same thing just happened in MI as well. I'm not quite convinced that the state is as fault so much as it is a way for the feds to get back at or state for decriminalizing a certain plant.
