Unless you are an adult cosigner how, in our Republic under our Constitution, is it possible to demand repayment for the obligation incurred by another. It sounds to me like the SSA is helping to lay the groundwork for "collective guilt" to pave the way for reparations for slavery. The SSA apparently claims the ability to garnish your entire tax refund even if it's WAY more than what they claim you "owe" them....
Oh and good luck ever getting it back, the IRS just hands it to them and they skip away like thieves....

It's a very real thing, and in my opinion, if I was on the jury, I'd not guilty someone that wiped out an entire SS office over it.

Might want to one day talk to your stupid Congress Critters and get them on the spot publicly and demand they give a timeline for fixing this.
