Wyatts extended box

Im getting ready to start a mountain rifle build and was considering using the bighorn origin action as my platform. I plan on using a wyatts extended box mag with a bdl floor plate. My question to those in the know, does the action need any modification( similar to the r700) or are they good to go?

I might have misunderstood but you can’t run magazines with a bdl floorplate. You gotta loose the bdl bottom metal and get detachable magazine bottom metal.

The Wyatts is an internal mag like a standard BDL, only longer OAL capable . Meant to be used with BDL metal.

The extended box mag is part of the bdl set up. You are thinking of Detachable Box Mag, we are talking about 2 different things.

My dumb ass. I was thinking extended out the bottom for additional rounds not for extending the length . No wonder it sounded wrong. Sorry guys

Only the SR3 has the Wyatt's cut option. So I imagine the Origin will need to be modified.
