Iv got 500 rounds on one. I like it. I had an area 419 hellfire which I sold for the Hawkins. Main reason was switching from direct thread suppressor to a brake, with the hellfire system required more more money and more stacking.
Once the tank is set, it’s essentially a perfect fit, without having to tweak a nut, or tighten a collar. I can screw it off, shoot suppressed and screw it back on without any fiddling.
The brake is effective, but not as much so as a brake that has the ports angled toward the shooter. It’s definitely got less concussion than the bastard or hellfire brakes. That was Hawkins goal though. I think they did a good job.
Add in the Allen wrench bore hole, and the flats, for super easy leveling of the brake, and I think it’s a winner.
