Have you checked out our videos on the brake?

I know we're biased here, but Andy and Nick both run the heck out of these brakes at PRS style matches, hunting and practice. They work great. They don't produce as much concussion as other brakes and they time back the same way every time to re-install them.

Iv got 500 rounds on one. I like it. I had an area 419 hellfire which I sold for the Hawkins. Main reason was switching from direct thread suppressor to a brake, with the hellfire system required more more money and more stacking.

Once the tank is set, it’s essentially a perfect fit, without having to tweak a nut, or tighten a collar. I can screw it off, shoot suppressed and screw it back on without any fiddling.

The brake is effective, but not as much so as a brake that has the ports angled toward the shooter. It’s definitely got less concussion than the bastard or hellfire brakes. That was Hawkins goal though. I think they did a good job.

Add in the Allen wrench bore hole, and the flats, for super easy leveling of the brake, and I think it’s a winner.

Thank for the reply.
Can't wait to get it Monday.
Just got back from a PRS shoot in NY.
And was able to pull some MDT goodies from the prize table.
Shame that was the last match of the year for me.

I will post a picture with the muzzle brake on.

Nice mdt does a great job sponsoring matches I’m waiting on an action right now and my last match is probably oct. 10th nick dep and Andy Hawkins might just be there so I’m hoping to check out that brake. All my rifles have their rings on them

Awesome.
I was looking at their rings too. That maybe an over the winter upgrade.

I was able to pick up two MDT metal mags, awesome! And one of their adjustable vertical grips along with a shirt and of course stickers.

Well i wish you luck at your match.
Keep us posted.

Mike

Why did you elect to armor plate your rifle?

Lol I didn't hear that one yet.
But it is stainless steel.
The MDT chassis that come with the savage stealth 110 is very lightweight and the forend is very short, so buying the MDT weights was out of the question and the price is a bit crazy.
Before the "armor plate" was added it was right around 13# So I made that little design to add 5# to the rifle for PRS purpose.
It can be removed in about 5-10 minutes
