Sell my custom build to get this beauty, AXSA in Elite sand. Now I am waiting for AX Mark3

A quick "after action" report. I finally got the AI I traded for out to the range on Friday. What a pleasure to shoot.

The former owner was (remarkably) shooting it off-hand; I don't exactly shake like a dog sh*tting razor blades, but I would like to pick up a bipod for it.

I am thinking the Elite Iron Bipod, non-panning or panning??, aluminum, normal height, the way to go; or is there something another one I should look at?

Whats that "control box" on the left hand side.

thanks

Hope someone can answer this question for me.

Have a really good friend who is teaching me to reload. He is one of the most knowledgable people I know on the subject. He wants to develop a load for my AT in 308. He shoots F-Class and NRA high-power so that is the cartridge he knows best.

He wants to take some basic measurements using headspace gauges. I know AI makes their own go/no-go gauges. Are these required or can he use what he has? I have no idea why the AI gauges are so expensive.

Yikes, they are nice brakes. How did that happen?
No idea, put it on my hawk hill (which is also 5/8 x 24), tried my sidewinder adapter on the AI barrel, put the MX1 on and when I went to back if off to level it stopped and where the collar tightens it is visibly cross threaded. Was able to get the brake level on the barrel with a vice and wrench so it's not an $1100 paper weight haha

Don't worry, I shoot with that exact same brake. You won't be needing anything else anyway!
