it seems like every case that i find,,, like wal mart or other fairly inexpensive place,,, with my 5-25 scopes, bipod, and spuhr mounts,,,and if i leave a suppressor on,, forget about it,, even my folding stocks will make it shorter but of course,, now it is way thicker and there is still the scope and bipod,,,,, nothing fits. not sure why they couldn't just make them a little bigger., anyone found anything? even my little gap hunter with a bipod and i think i have a revic on it right now,,, not even close to fitting in anything.. all i want is a cheap padded case for transport every now and then,,,,but something big enough for the extra scope height,, bipod bulge, suppressor, and a little extra room so it isn't impossible to zip up. thoughts?

I have tacops drag bag and it's overkill and badass in every way.
That being said I also have a 52" Armageddon Gear precision rifle case. They make a longer one so you can keep your can on too. Works damn fine for transportation to and from the range, which is realistically all I need. Not cheap but it's awesome quality from an awesome company

I had luck with the MidwayUSA Heavy Duty Scoped Rifle Case 52” before I upgraded. It fit my Savage LRP in a XLR Element with bipod attach. You’ll have to remove the suppressor.
If you want to spend some money then I recommend the Air Armor Tech mid length. I fit my comp rifle in an XLR Envy with folder without being bulky. The rifle plus case weighted the same as Pelican Vault 880 empty.

I just received one of these in the mail. By no means a long term review but it seems to be very well made, especially for the price. They sell them on Amazon which makes it easy to order as well.
I went with one of these at my local sportsman’s warehouse. They were having a 20% off sale and I got it for under $50. The zipper is stout, but not the pull tabs. Broke them both off in the first couple range trips. Easy paracord fix making some new pull tabs.
I really didn’t want to pack a hard card around this hunting season and didn’t want to be taking my direct thread can off and on every trip.

These are my favorites lately as well, good padding, velcro straps on the interior, plenty of room for a big optic, and YKK zippers for less than $70. Just can't contribute to the trend of consumer endorsed ridiculous gun accessory inflation by spending $300+ on a soft case.
Only downside is I hate supporting what Bass Pro has done to Cabelas, and now their warranty on Cabelas brand products is only 60 days or in other words basically useless.
Look on Amazon and elsewhere, online, for the Wisport brand. They're made in Poland and are top-notch. I have their Zipperfox 40L and Sparrow 25L packs. I dragged them all over central Europe for almost three weeks and was very impressed. Construction is Cordura, with great zippers and strong seams. I highly recommend considering anything Wisport.
Hit up Scheels if you are near one-- they run 10-20% off their soft cases on a frequent basis. I have two- the 55" scoped and the 52" Tactical. Lot of bang for your buck when theyre on sale.
